Just played a game where we were 10-21 kills behind and 2-3 towers. Now this may look bad but we were ahead in CS and we were still trading evenly or even better because the enemy plays greedily. My team decided it was time to surrender and I voted no but my other 4 teammates all voted yes.

Why play this game when you're going to surrender at 20mins when you're behind?

ps: if you're 2 inhibs down + baron + 10-50 in kills then yea you can safely surrender but this game wasn't over by a long shot.

A vast majority of the community are ignorant to the ways of power shifts in league...which is sad because in most cases, 20 minutes isn't even close to tell the outcome of the game (especially in lower elo).

This doesn't apply to like high diamond, master, or challenger games as they don't last nearly as long as lower elo games

20 mins is plenty if my top and mid are a combined 0-18-3.

Depends on the elo and team comp tbh. I'd say roughly Gold 4 or lower gives plenty of chances to throw the game as you transition into late game

At that point the match is literally 2v5. Because A) Those two are trolls. B) I don't even try to carry them since they don't deserve to win.

Being 0-10-0 isn't feeding. It's trolling. There is literally no other explanation. If you're actually trying, you don't go 0-10-0. (of course we're not talking about the level 1 guy who is laning against the diamond smurf Riven)

actually a more logical question is, why do you still wanna play when you're so far behind? are you lonely? do you need friends? leagues not going anywhere, just play your next game and dont feed as hard, and hope that your team doesnt either, dont force them to continue playing because you're too stubborn to admit defeat

I admit defeat when I'm sure it's a defeat. When we are still winning fights but we're behind in kills and the clock hits 20mins it's not a reason to surrender. I'm not lonely either nor do I need friends but I prefer to give 100% for a game and try to win. Not this shitty mentality of surrendering because you're 5k gold behind. Even pro's come back from being that much gold behind.

If it's a stomp sure, but otherwise don't surrender. You can still learn shit from being behind too unless it's a stomp.

Why play league when you surrender when you're behind?

Don't have to be so rude. What he described wasn't a 100% total loss, It has nothing to do with friends, loneliness or anything like that, it has to do with the fact that wasting time in a game that was winnable isn't his ideal situation.

I surrender when I understand my teams mentality.

Just played a basically 3 v 5 (although we had teemo support who was useless),

I knew our garen wasnt that useful when I found him ulting soraka and focusing her when I was battling lucian.

Y'know, I found the game in question and you are throwing far too much shade on those players.

Garen had 60% kill participation, more damage than your Graves, and only died three times in the entire game. The Teemo support dealt almost as much damage as you, participated in almost as many kills as you, and died less than you did.

Also, Garen was smart for focusing Soraka, if she's left alone nobody ever dies on her team because of her heals.

I'm also mildly entertained that you're Plat 5 but your normals MMR is so low you're playing with bronze and low silver players (and you lose more than 50% of those games), but that's neither here nor there.

The garen made major mistakes. Your mmr is silver so I cant argue much with below average intellligence.

Soraka was wayy off to the side when I was battling lucian.

Again kills arent what wins the game, defense, objectives, and gold income are what wins the game.

As far as normals goes, my normals mmr is low as is most of the other high elo patch of players because we dont spend 100+ games to climb out of low elo on normals.

I really didn't want to bring this up, but...

I'm looking through your history right now. You have an absolutely terrible win record in normals against low silvers and high bronzes (people worse than me), it's maybe 50/50. You've played probably a hundred normal games in the last month, so if you were playing to a platinum level you should, in theory, have risen your normals MMR quite a bit by shitstomping the silvers and bronzes, but you don't. In fact, there are quite a few games where you do absolutely terrible, which nobody that far advanced should do.

Meanwhile, the champions you win the most with in ranked are champions I see little to no evidence of you ever playing with in normals, and yet you have incredibly long ranked win streaks against golds and platinums, who by the evidence of your normal games should be absolutely stomping you.

Feels boosted man.

Now I hope you realize when people play normals its alot different than playing in ranked.

Yes congrats wise one, you noticed My ranked is with gp ekko renekton. Thats because those are my mains. I am currently practicing graves volibear to pefect it so I can carry ranked games with those champions too.

Im not boosted Ive pefected many of my silver smurfs to gold+. Normals isnt the place for tryhard.

He is a bit of a crazy, I caught him about 2 weeks ago with the same claim. He has games where he is duo'd with his own smurfs with his jetjoe account playing his ekko, gangplank while his smurf plays his regular picks. Feel free to look at the "conversation" we had yesterday to sum up what kind of person this guy is.

Tl;dr: Don't take game advice from Jetjoe.

You're preaching to the choir. I call it league of forfeit. Many people, especially in normals, love to play league of ff; unfortunately, People like us who want to play League of LEGENDS get matched with these people.

Riot should really make a separate queue just for them. ranked, normal and forfeit Queues. at 20 minutes a surrender vote automatically starts and all ten players votes are automatically "yes" and both teams lose.

I think it might be a real hit :D
