Matchmaking is broken

My team: Gold 5 Gold 3 -> me Gold 2 Silver 1 Gold 4

Enemy team: Gold 3 Platinum 5 Gold 2 Platinum 5 Gold 3

How is this even allowed to happen? I can understand when there is a bit of difference like G2-4 because I'm gold 3 but the enemy just straight up had better (it showed in game) players than my team. This shouldn't be allowed.

Riot is still using the retarded "mmr" system that is clearly incorrect and doesn't work for anything.

Why do you think plat players are even remotely good? XD If you hop into ranked 5's you'll see the gap between silver/gold/plat is barely noticeable.

I hate every post that complains about matchmaking and it's from a solo player in a TEAM ORIENTED GAME - make friends

When I played World of Warcraft competitively, 2400 MMR teams would go against 2300-2500 MMR teams. That would be the equivalent to "Challenger" tier in this game. 1500 MMR teams would fight 1400-1600 MMR teams, which is equivalent to "Bronze." When I played Ranked in League, everything went against everything. You'd get Silvers against Plats, Golds against Diamonds, etc. You just have to queue enough to get lucky. That's all it is.

Rito's matchmaking has never been about an equal matchup. It's always been about maintaining that artificial 50/50 win rate at any cost. This is why you can go on a 5 game win streak, and then go on a 6 game lose streak, then win 2 and lose 3 and win 2 more and lose one.

What surprises me more is that matchmaking has been broken forever and it's taken so long for people to finally start objecting to it.

I use op.gg, which i think shows the ranked MMR, but wi usually play normals and its often like 1550 vs 1750 MMR or 1500 vs 1800 which is horrifying. theres a bronze vs a diamond AD sometimes. its ok imo if one lane is way higher elo (ie. dia top vs dia top) but having such difference in the same lane is just dumb.
