I've played league for six years now. I've seen a lot of good and bad. Mostly I think the game is the best it's ever been with one exception. The mastery trees feel too restrictive to me. Over the years the thing I've liked most about the game which I think is its defining trait is that champs are more or less modular. The runes/mastery system allows different champs to be played different ways. We should be able to place our 30 mastery points where ever we want. The way it's setup now there are really only a few variances used. Almost no point. Another issue on the opposite side of the spectrum that I have is not enough rune pages. Having played so long and having thousands of wins I have more than 20 rune configurations I use. Which means before I queue I need to choose which to be armed with and from time to time don't have the one I want available.

I do have 2 suggestions too. I think it would be a convenience to have the mastery number shown during champ selection. I own them all and forget which ones have which tier mastery sometimes. Also in selection arguments frequently occur over who called what. What if you added five buttons above the text field for each position that once pressed would type that position in chat and disable the button for the other players. Obviously there's nothing in the EULA saying you have to play meta or a particular position but, I think the community would respond well to it. It's essentially the accepted method used now by the community, it would just be a non-bias way of saying who called what first.
