Rescale LP in ranked

I've talked with a number of players like myself who despite how well they consistently play get ping ponged back and forth between silver and bronze.

I've been playing for seven years. I tried ranked in season 3 and got to gold. Realized I wasn't going to climb any higher so I stopped. This season I tried again and I don't understand what has changed but, I have positive scores, participate, good farm, don't tilt or rage and over the last 6 months, I have been ping ponged between silver 4 and bronze 4 by strings of horrible players. The bad decisions start in selection and carry into the game.

What I would suggest is not to penalize players so much for other players feeds. After calculating how much LP everyone loses, it should be scaled and the loss redistributed among the players based on how they performed individually. I.E. how much of the loss they were responsible for. I've played for seven years and I know for a fact I can roll with better players than the ones I've been teamed with.

It's not just Silver and Bronze. But personally I've noticed being ping ponged between Plat 5 and Plat 2 is that if you can keep more wins than losses (say in a stretch of 10 games you win 7/10) you can continue to climb and keep good teammates like yourself. I know this seems obvious but I've noticed whenever I'd go on a losing streak because I wouldn't stop playing after 2 losses I'd get teammates who didn't even seems like they were Platinum or even Gold players.

Both good points. But I think it still stands, we should have some benefit to performing individually. I mean I am playing in SOLO queue.
