A Sad Bad Game
I queue up for ranked, which is something that I don't usually do however I thought I may as well get my 4th placement out of the way. I pick Ahri, enemy Mid Laner picks Vlad.
The game starts off fairly well, our Jungler comes to gank, getting first blood on the Vlad, and an assist for me, I say good job to my Jungler and they say thanks. Team actually seems nice. I'm fairly low health and have no mana though so decide to back, but with 2 seconds left on the back suddenly my game randomly freezes, something which it has never done before, with the screen stuck on my character backing.
In the assumption that my character still is backing, I wait a couple seconds and then press enter in the hope chat still works which luckily it did. I say to my team that the screen has frozen and I can't see anything, waiting patiently in the hope the message went through and I will be able to re-join the game.
Soon I start hearing the enemy missing ping being spammed and wonder what is going on. Initially I think the message had not gone through and my team thinking I had went AFK however moments later the screen refreshes and the words "you have been slain" are said followed by my teammates saying "wtf Ahri why no help?" which I felt was a reasonable response giving that I was somehow back in lane.
I'm not sure how I ended up back in lane as I had not touched my mouse but somehow my champion ended back there and was slain again. Trying to work out what had happened I apologized to my teammates explaining again that the screen froze, and I didn't realize I was back in lane.
My team had obviously thought I was there and so had went in and died also meaning Vlad managed to claim 3 kills. He also picked up a fair bit of farm during my screen being frozen followed by me dying because of it and so I was quite a bit behind. In an attempt to stop him from getting fed further I tried playing safe, farming under turret keeping vision as much as I could.
Our Jungler came back to lane and we picked up another kill on Vlad, then Vlad got one on me the next time he was in lane.
Having warded I saw that Vlad was heading towards Top, but being dead I couldn’t do anything but ping, I pinged Rift Herald saying that I think that he is there, as it did not seem likely he would go after the full health Top Laner who had been playing fairly decently in the Top lane, but my team decided to ignore my pings and stay in lane, which is entirely up to them at the end of the day, so I left it at that. Vlad got Rift Herald and got the enemy Bot and Jungle to come Mid with Rift Herald and push the lane claiming the 2 Mid turrets as the support and I tried desperately to handle the situation.
By 20 minutes and having been behind from basically the start I had only managed to grab a small bit of magic resistance boots, and the components of Morellonomicon being 50 gold off from the item, at which point our ADC rights in chat “Ahri. OMFG. Haven’t even completed one item by 20 minutes” and then our Top Laner joins in by saying in all chat about the whole team being feeders and giving up, also making homophobic remarks towards team members.
I apologized again to the team saying “I’m sorry for losing lane early on, the game had frozen and I hadn’t realized I had headed back into lane”
Although our Top Laner had given up, the rest of the team kept trying, fighting to the end against the fed enemy team. I was able to pick off a few enemies and get some more gold and items, however it was too late to save the game, especially because by this time all three lanes had been lost and even though we managed to send the waves up the lanes the enemy sent them back down fairly quickly, and by the end we had lost, but not before our ADC managed to say in all chat about “f%%%ing reporting [their] useless team”
