I don't want an uber Mundo; I want a viable Mundo! He has some wonderful skins that I enjoy a great deal (the Ultimate Warrior tribute skin will forever make me smile) but he hasn't been a good option in ranked play for ages. I'm not looking to steamroll anyone in lane/jungle, I just want him to have a fair shot at being an option.
Because right now, a player has to be crazier than Mundo to choose him!
Mundo is currently viable. Nothing top tier, but he works well enough.
Mundo is def worth playing if you like him... He's a big ball of stats like a few other tanks and chases people down with Q. Just go full tank, and if ur fed get a titanic... I don't know why you would think he's not strong. Infact i'd say because he builds tanky, your team will probably value you highly!
He may be difficult to kill but so are many other tanks that are able to provide some sort of other utility, as well. His damage is weak, his Q cc is marginal, no silencing powers, no healing of others, no blitz/naught/thresh style hooks, no knockups/knockbacks, no roots... Quite literally every other tank has atleast 1 ability that provides assistance to their team, while Mundo's saving grace is that he probably won't feed due to his life regen keeping him afloat. Let the good doctor do more for his people! Turn that slowing Q into a stunning Q when it's fully leveled, or perhaps his passive adrenaline rush can be an aura that gives everyone a small boost to hp regen (who doesn't get pumped when they're in the presence of someone else that's jacked up and ready for action?).
