Example: Ninja week, sword users week, Vastaya week, ice ice baby week etc.
I know there are not enough full-blood ninjas to fill an entire line-up (only 4 energy users out of 137 champs?) so it might require some creativity as to what we call a ninja but that's just one basic example. Pretty straightforward idea, doesn't actually require any new coding or gameplay tweaks or reworks of any champ.

Chembaron Yamada4 votesAssassin theme is kinda a bad idea, simply because there are no assassins for every position in the game. The free champion rotation is aiming at giving you champions for each role: Top, Mid, Jungle, Support and Bot.
Purely region themed champion rotations don't work, since they increased the champ rotation to include 14 champions. There is just 1 region in the game with enough champions to fill a complete rotation on it's own: Ionia.
We could make rotations with 2 regions, though. For example taking 7 champions from Piltover and 7 champions from Zaun.

No. By "assassins" I mean not the role but the... We are no talking about lol for a moment. Ninjas are basiclly assassins. Assassins are people killing important guys. Assassin's creed in one word. So we don't make ninja week but assassin week and we include everyone that fits - Shen, Zed, Kennen, Akali, Talon, Katarina.

Diablo Dolphin1 votesYes absolutely! I was just throwing out whatever came to mind but that's the idea. LoL has many, many "factions" or groupings of champs for various reasons. Whether it's by lore, by job title, or by weapon of choice, the options are plentiful.
