Kog is going bonkers O.o

As I said a couple weeks prior, AP kog is incredibly strong so much so that his win rate in mid is almost 56% ._. that's touching OP territory.

In contrast his win rate as an adc is barely 47%, so undoubtedly his AP version is much powerful but... I wonder, if people realizes that AP kog is really powerful, why don't they bring him bot lane but build AP?

I know that ADCs are a mean of physical sustained damage but, with an AD assassin in mid and an AD fighter in top or jungle, AP kog in bot could very well thrive, don't you think? Of course, since he works more like a mage it makes him more tied lo levels than gold... either way it might not be as optimal but the difference in levels is negligible, with barely 50 AP, void ooze has 35 damage extra for a total of 95 at lvl 1... that's crazy considering that Void ooze does damage to everything it hits :S

thoughts?

Void Ooze also costs a shit ton of mana if you don't build mana

definitely! but AP builds tend to incorporate at least one mana item so again, AP build wins out.

At that point you should just play him mid lol. Nashor's doesn't give mana.

yeah of course but why is it unnaceptable to play a mage as an adc? O.o

Mainly because of the Seige power ADC's have when built AD. I mean there's some cases where Kog'Maw would be best built as a hybrid, but full AP Kog'Maw bot lane would open your team up to be countered by magic resist if you have no AD damage.
