Yaoi characters typically look very feminine and the target audience is women who are into gay romances. Bara guys look much more manly and the target audience is gay men.

Another difference is that, from what I've seen, yaoi typically focuses on the romance and characters/plot, whereas bara typically focuses on..other things.

If it makes you feel better, that Trundle more or less absorbed the disease of his entire people, making it look like the skin on his face was constantly melting off. I would like to believe the traditional skins keep the champs original lore like some skins have their own alternate universe lore .__.
