I really like yordles in general but I think that having only 3 females is a bit loopsided.
Granted, finding a personality and theme that fits a female yordle can be a bit hard but I think there's still space for at least 2 or 3 more...

is EXPLOSIONS, akin to Jinx but definitely more neutral
is all about science
is about Yunkyard engineering
is about GET OUT OF MY TERRITORY
is BATMAN
is EVIL
is Fae magic
is honor and duty
is acrobatics
As you can see, even if I didn't list them all, most yordles have a theme like every champion but then the fact that they are yordles helps the theme being pushed to the extreme with a seasoning of crazyness.
Jinx could be about explosions as I said and she's pretty crazy on her own, but Ziggs is definitely a lot more extreme when it comes to explosions, it's like he was born to make things explode and he knows nothing else but explosions while Jinx simply enjoys seeing them

MonkeyMadness1 votesSo far, is the only yordle not stated to be from Bandle City. As for Ionia, you have kennen (as you pointed out) and I know that Poppy's old lore had her closely associated with Ionia (not 100% sure on her new lore though).
Point is though that a Shadow Isles/Blessed Isles yordle champ wouldn't make much thematic sense. We already have our "origin" Shadow Isles champs, so now I would only expect future shadow champs to be those that are corrupted by the Black Mist. I suppose we could expect a yordle shadow isles champ if the Black Mist were to reach Bandle City, but given that it's only just getting to Bilgewater I'd guess we have a few more Harrowings before we need to worry about that.

Either way, both originated from Bandle City. And the fact that even "evil" yordles (kled, veigar) still have that cuddly vibe that just can't happen with shadow isles champs.

It might have to do with the fact that I'm playing a fantasy game, and it's hard for me to immerse myself in it when a midget with some blowdarts is able to kill a blood leeching landshark with a sword no problem.
I understand the appeal to others I guess, but I feel like the ~10 Yordles we have is enough, no other race has that many champions unless you just count humanoid champions.
