Riot thinks we're all idiots because we didn't max Q on Swain.

First off, I think it's funny that Riot decided to stick this in their patch notes. I'm guessing those of us who just read this and played swain probably overwhelmingly read the swain notes for 6.9. We aren't idiots. Riot insisting that we just missed the big picture is frankly insulting when they completely misunderstood how the champ works at a basic level.

Old Swain's E was reliable. It didn't miss. It always dealt its damage. Any extra Q damage was bonus on top of that. It wasn't a huge deal if they broke the tether. Now if they leave Q, there goes all your damage. People maxed E 1st for a reason. Frankly, I don't blame them after the train wreck that was the swain rework.

Note that Riot has access to the statistics, so they know exactly how many players are leveling E over Q still. And a couple of high-level Swain mains have posted on the Boards and said to level E last.

A ton of people are still maxing E first. That's why it's in the notes.

Q has a much better base/scaling atm then any of his other skills. and its mainly due to the poor wording in the description i at first thought the damage was abysmally low but the full duration damage is actually really good.

to bad that anyone with 1 mobility spell completely negates it.

i like how they are "don't level this, but level this" so retarded, they are literally saying "u have no choice when u play this champ :))))"
