Can I gush about talon?

Alright so I've been browsing the forums and I noticed a lack of discussions about the new reworks/changes. Thankfully there have been plenty of discussions about riot's more... recent flop.... anyway I really like how talon plays now that he's received a myriad of changes.

First of all his neat in theory but underused in practice passive was replaced with a bleed when he completes a combo. His q is a pretty neat ability, his w and e are probably my favorite changes. Talon's old kit did appeal to me, but after playing with him for a while I kind of got tired of it, and I started noticing problems in his kit. One big problem is that he could kill far too quickly. His w in particular was a pretty dull ability, especially since it had such a short range it was like darius's e post rework. I will miss his e, as there were some pretty neat ways to outplay people with it, but I understand why it was a problem and I will enjoy his new e for months on end. Especially since he can jungle now. But I'll talk about that later.

So I think riot hit the nail on the head really well with talon's design, you have to make quick decisions about how you're going to use each ability, and I think making sure you have an escape in case things go south when you gank is particularly awesome. His ult is still kind of a "crap I'm not sure I can kill this guy better ult" sort of thing, but because his w doesn't do all it's damage nearly instantaneously and his passive has the bleed effect instead of his q, you won't need to use it as a deus ex machina. I've mostly used it to engage, ulting a short distance away from a target the way I think it was meant to be used.

So as far as jungling with him, I really don't think it was intentional, however I think it's a happy little accident. He has tools that are very useful with the new jungle changes, heck he doesn't need a leash if you have the right runes/masteries. He has the heal on his q if he kills a unit, he has aoe with his w, and I've found he can clear krugs and the raptors fairly quickly after his initial clear (starting blue side) oh and his e is probably the most practical reason to play talon jungle, since you can shorten clearing time simply because you can vault over walls. Oh did you get invaded at low hp and smite is on cooldown? Vault right out of there, easy peasy (oh that hurts to say why do people do that?).

I didn't see this coming, but after a few games I've noticed that the pre-season is going to be a mess. Today I saw Aatrox and rengar duking it out in the mid lane, and in a different game fiora adc. Needless to say, we won both of those games. So I don't know if he's considered fair to play against by the community yet, I mean, I don't hear people saying bullsh*t or op af pls nerf rito when I kill people with kha zix or sion, and I haven't heard anyone complain about talon... yet. So, if you made it here, do you think talon is far better than his older self, or is he just going to be good while he can still surprise people.

I've mostly used it to engage, ulting a short distance away from a target the way I think it was meant to be used.

Literally the opposite. it is meant to be used to disengage while your target bleeds out or just to give you a window to act while dropping aggro similar to Akali's shroud.

If it was meant for engage, they would have made it camo.

As for jungling, literally anything can jungle this season.
