Stacking the Deck beforehand won't lead to a legitimate win in Poker...

...so why would it be a legitimate win in League?

I've yet to actually see a genuine win for years. People rely so heavily on both premade and smurf matchmaking manipulation in order to make a game in their favor, that there is virtually no point trying to compete or believe that this game has any semblance of dignity left.

League used to have genuine wins, wins where both sides were evenly matched, both with the same limited communication because there were no premades in it. Games where Riot's ban system had not pushed all the toxic players to the bottom so they can just create new accounts and Riot can make money off them but at the same time drive new players away by smurfing.

I am beginning to believe that Riot simply does not care about their games integrity because they have brought in so many ways to stack the deck before you actually even get in the game now.

Idk why you think that is was ever better, but w/e.

there were no premades in it

Excuse me, but what? There were always premades...

This kind of "League used to be" comments are so heavily effected by nostalgia...

??? There were always premades in ranked. Tbf, idk if that was the case in season 1-3, but back when i started playing raked (season 4) we had premades in ranked. And guess what? people werent complaining about it. it just got used as an excuse recently. Premades arent a problem.

As for smurfs... from what I've heard it's only kiiinda common in plat but in lower elos it's very rare to see a smurf. Perhaps youre seeing higher elo players now because every1's rank drastically dropped with the start of the new season (Gbay99 for example was dia4 and after his 1st provisional game he was placed in gold 3) so they're mixed up with low elo players.
