Is it fulfilling to win with something that is essentially unfair?

Be that an overpowered item or character?

Why is that "fun" because its essentially not you, its whatever Riot does to the champion. Yet people still do it, taking meta champions into normal games and then acting like they are the second coming. Why is that "fun"? What is it about having the deck stacked in your favour beforehand that makes the game fun or enjoyable.

Because that would never be enjoyable to myself. I'd rather every champion was less damaging, less mobility etc because the game at the moment just is not enjoyable. Stomping the other side is never really that fun.

If you are only here to win... then maybe you should reevaluate your life. Its not like any of us will be LCS players any day soon so why care so much?

Why are people so determined to let Riot pick their champion for them instead of being unique?

This whiny thread complaining about people trying to win in a competitive game is lame as hell but some of ya'll are delusional if you think some characters kit-wise aren't more powerful than others.

Are you actually trying to shame everyone who wants to win? Fuck 99.9% of every highschool athlete that enjoys their hobby enough to take practice seriously, right?

Whether someone wants to be the best at their hobby, do some speedruns, or just have some competition with their peers, everyone is allowed to enjoy the game their own way. It turns out that lots of people who play ranked have at least a little interest in gaining as high a ranking as they can. Familiarizing yourself with and using the meta is as much a part of the ranked experience as anything else.

In every half-way competitive environment, using every tool and strategy available to you to win has always been sportsmanlike. I've only ever heard scrubs, and casual players that have no business in a competitive environment saying things like "A character is cheating because he's overpowered"

I agree, cant imagine spamming garen because hes op right now. The champ isnt even fun you legit just press e and walk around. I can understand op champs like qiyana being fun because of her ability to make flashy plays. I just dont understand people that spam champs like garen and morde, to me they are boring even after one game.

This is why i still play predator garen.

Because people find winning fun? Because people like those champions/items regardless of their power? Why should I play something I hate just because what I like is meta?

ive never liked playing overpowered champs, especially assassins cause theyre basically make the game turn into sandbox mode (although i used to play a ton of Evelynn cause she reminds me of Valeera from HotS and i love that game.)

((eve is also my most played champ in league with 123292 pts if you need that info))

With mobility you have more opportunity to make plays and outplay your opponent. Without mobile champions, this game would become dead. Sorry, but the most popular champions have some sort of mobility.

To some people, winning is fun. Would you consider getting stomped fun?

No champion is unfair to play against. Theres counterplay to every champion.

Who the fuck are you to tell other people what they should and shouldn't enjoy? How did you get such an inflated sense of importance and authority?

Fun is secondary to getting the Blue. The only important part of league is your nexus not exploding. Go on, tell me where the game tracks 'Fun per game' and then tell me where it tracks win/loss

IMHO The most fun games are the ones that go back and forth where the winner isn't clear cut at 10 mins in. The least fun are the ones you get stomped maybe 10% of those are actually fun and normally only because of chat keeping you entertained. 90% of the times when I'm on the stomping team it's meh depends on the champ I'm playing TBH stomping with Jhin is about the most fun I've ever had it rarely happens tho cuz I'm a shit Jhin. The games ends I get a win and I just kinda say "Well I guess that was fun maybe?".

It's more about how many people lack the love from Mommy and Daddy, so come to seek validation in the form of their score on a video game.

The same people who abuse OP picks are the same ones who point to their score when they lose. "Bruh i was 11/2, how did we lose" when they spent the entire game split pushing as Darius instead of teamfighting.

More or less, the reason that these people exist is due to poor parenting. More or less, the reasons most people are fucked up, is due to poor parenting.
