Can Ekko hit you 3x with his Q?

Ekko throws out his Q, the grenade stops, and then comes back to him. So, with that in mind what if I ult while it comes back.

Ex. 1- Ekko (running from someone) -> Enemy -> ult hologram 2- Ekko (running from someone) -> Enemy -> grenade (1st hit and stops) -> ult hologram 3- Ekko (running from someone) -> grenade (2nd hit and returns) -> Enemy -> ult hologram 4- Ekko (using ult) -> grenade (still on its way back) -> Enemy -> ult hologram 5- grenade (still in flight) -> Enemy -> Ekko (location after ult) 6- grenade (recalculates Ekko's current location) -> Enemy -> Ekko (location after ult) 7- grenade (does a 180 to go to Ekko's current location) -> Enemy -> Ekko 8- Enemy -> grenade (3rd hit and procs passive) -> Ekko (uses speed buff from passive to escape) 9- Enemy (crying and typing in all chat, "Ekko op") -> Ekko (laughing while returning to base) 10- Enemy (still crying) -> Ekko (laughing while returning to base, 1sec left) -> DRAVEN (full build) 11- Ekko (Dead at team base) -> DRAVEN (LMAO for breaking his highest bounty record) 12- DRAVEN carries team to GG XD

Someone test this please or provide a link to someone who tried this already If this does work and people start doing this in games, technically, not my fault; YOU are the one that produced the test/link XD

as it doesn't work with other boomerang effeckts, i'd guess it does not work.

They did say that Ekko is suppose to encourage smart game play so you never know. Plus no one in the game can mimic this play to the same extent.

Ex. Ahri's Q has a boomerang effect to it, but she has to flash past the enemy she hit after the ball hits them on the way back. The time window for that is so small I, that only a handful of people can actually do it. Plus, most people won't waste a flash to just get a third hit on someone.

Except that all boomerang skill shots are not allowed to hit the same target more than two times. That's just the general implemented mechanic.

Although with Ekko, maybe it applies the slow effect more than twice? I'm not sure, as Ahri and Sivir dont have cc on their shots. (And gnar only hits once with his)
