How does one counter late game Chogath

I killed him early 1000 times. Got a lead in cs and all. He stacked on minions and i could not do anythjing about that. In late game he had above 5k or more im not sure. He 1 SHOOOTEEDDD my jg with ult. He could not die 1v5. If we attack him 1v5 we get fucced by his teammates. If we attack his teammates he comes and fucces us all. If we manage to kill him, THEN we can push but they will have around 3-4 teammates to fuck me in the ass. How do you counter cho gath except him being banned in banning phase. Please help me to counter cho gath im silver 3 pro

If you aren’t a good jax player I would say either practice jax more and get better at him, or play a champ that you are good at and understand deeply and learn the general ways that all top lane champs (would be better if you can figure out the best counter tips for your main) can beat a cho.

Same thing you do with a Nasus.

Prepare to beat on him for a while and keep him CC locked.

His only real weakness is that his huge hitbox renders him impossible to miss.

Other than that, it's mostly having a mobile champion that can abuse item 3153 , combined with a peel-heavy support (Thresh or Alistar levels and kinds of peel. TK doesn't have the right kind of peel for this, as Cho's silence really fucks you over there, and you prevent your ADC from beating him down). Lucian and Kindred are the only real ways to stop him in a fight if he hits that point, honestly.

It's that, or just push faster than he can. Murder his team, then just go around him if you can. He'll instantly take a turret every 45 seconds if he has Demolish, sure, but it should take you less time to run down his base. Having a second champion capable of carrying would also help.

Cho gath is a late game champ, his win condition is getting 4 or more stacks off of enemy champions and neutral objectives (10 stacks or more). And even then, he still needs his team to get on their feet.

Much like Mundo, it's having champs that deal %hp damage. Max preferable, current works too.

Champs like him (late game monsters) are beat with map and objective control, and better team play.

Press the attack, cut down, botrk, black clever, mortal reminder, Maw of Malmortris, blood thirster, and mercury treads if you think the late game cho'gath will be a significant issue.

The runes give you at total of 24% more damage to late game cho'gath following the third hit for 6 seconds. Cut down gives you press the attacks 12% additional dmg on Cho'gath right away and is always up.

Botrk is an obvious counter.

Mortal reminder takes 25% of his armor away and halves any healing he gets from anything.

Black clever further reduces the armor of cho'gath even more. This is unnecessary and GA could be better against his ult. Black clever also hurts the potential of cut down rune.

Maw gives you magic resist and a life saving passive vs magic damage and also when active will help you kill chogath even faster even more safely so long as you stay in combat.

Blood thirster for good measure, doesn't hurt to harshly effect his ability to heal while amping you dmg and own healing. It also makes him timing his ult to kill you quickly a bit harder.

Mercury treads for additional MR and some tenacity.

This would ruin cho'gaths day. Oh yeah and a Trundle would also be a good thing to have.
