You should look learn from minecraft servers on how to reduce toxicity.

So i was playing on a random faction server and you couldn't swear at all, instead every swearword was changed to meow or some animal noise. You could do that too, i dont know if somebody plays garen and they say kill your self, it will get filtered into Demacia or something leauge based. It's kinda childish but it works and it could be funny, just imagine people arguing with this.

This could potentially stop some communication that was mixed in with cursing. "If you kill yourself on the turret to draw their attention then we can take the baron." Well... that just got caught, and now our poor player has no idea what his teammates want him to do because of DEMACIAAAA

I kinda messed up the title, bruh sound effect, EDIT: and yeah make it so you cannot disable this i mean if you dont want toxicity at all

Garen: DEMACIA! yourself

Darius: You know, somehow that's worse.

That's actually hilarious.

Now go meow yourself.

oh yeah. a game called rumble fighter changed all my swears and stuff to fruits.

this would work for me on league of legends. I wouldn't care to bypass fuck you, with fck you

But that would require effort, and that just not Riots style. And if it were to happen it would be gated behind a paywall.

So is it the actual word that offends you people? Like just the word itself? Or is the message behind the word? I just wonder because if someone random guy says some random shit about demacia, you kinda still know what theyre trying to say dont you? Like "hey bonator i hope you meow bark bark yourself you meow demacia" you kinda still know hes saying to kill yourself dont you? So is it just the combinations of letters in a certain order that offends you?

Edit: i gotta stay honest... i can actually see how that lightens the effect of toxicity lol. Go meow bark yourself is just silly and almost insantly changes the subject from someone insulting you, to how silly that sounds.

You realise there is literally A LANGUAGE FILTER in this game yeah?

I completely understand that it's difficult to stop ourselves from reacting quickly in situations like you've been in. Though the context of what others have said or even the actions they've taken can help to paint a picture of what has occurred. The use of your own chat is the only aspect we take note of when considering a follow up penalty. I apologize for repeating myself but after a 2-week suspension has been applied, any small point of your chat that can be noted as negative, is weighed heavily against your favor.

Players that feed, troll, or grief matches will be penalized if reported at the end of the game. That sort of behavior is taken very seriously and will not go unseen. [16:07] xxxxxxxx (Tahm Kench): i hate [16:13] xxxxxxxx (Tahm Kench): having inting botlanes [16:18] xxxxxxxx (Tahm Kench): 5 games in a row [18:50] xxxxxxxx (Tahm Kench): YOU FUCKING MEATHEAD [19:24] xxxxxxxx (Tahm Kench): dumb %%%% (notice lower case, i.e. used in the context of the meme)

I'll take a look into your troublesome teammates you've mentioned, for a manual report. I do need to note that I cannot reveal any sort of action that I may or may not have taken due to privacy concerns.

Riot games system rewards duo queue players for griefing and toxicity in ranked games. 2 report can get players auto punished by their system. In this example chatlog the “allied” adc and duo queue support wintraded a high elo game. After communicating with these players post game it was found that no punishment was issued for the griefing bot lane. Riot games is a great company guys :).

Sounds dumb and something only a immature mind would think is a good idea.

You know, as long as they don't go the OW path and replace "ggez" with something that's actually insulting towards the player that typed it. Lore related stuff would be cool.

God no. LoL isn't a game designed with 9 year olds as a primary audience. If anything they would have to make it an option but there already is a profanity filter option that everyone turns off

overpoweredscrub8/20/2019, 12:45:31 PM1 votes

technically, you can get something similar to this. Just turn on your chat filter and it will make generic swear words into ****. Swear words don't really bother me, it's just a word. What should bother people is the intent behind the words and not the actual word itself. Saying the word fuck when something goes wrong is the same as saying the words dang it. It comes with the same intent.

would be funny if a darius or katarina said "Demacia [insert the rest of the insult]" I like this idea, all the mindless ragers would be shut up when they realize that if they want to actually say what they mean they have to get creative. They should have a database for different ways people spell any one word. It'd be great, I'd be giggling myself until I feed and they're at our inhibs.

Srbonator8/25/2019, 10:57:41 AM1 votes

Or at least make this current filter not being able to be turned off and on. I mean its like making an prison but allowing prisoners to leave whenever they want.
