Anyone else remember the last time that was said about a specific Death-themed item? And it shoved half the champions reliant on that item into unviability because of the great "compensation" they received? And how long it took Riot to stop ignoring the fact they had just killed said champions and actually touch up on the subject.

Can't wait to see what champions Riot decides are allowed to be played and which are forced into the basement because they're constantly oom and they're "working on the compensation buffs for that character."

The compensation is already on the PBE. Most mages get +50 mana at level 1, with 3 less mana per level from there. Doran's Ring has been changed from 3 mana per 5 to 50% mana regen, which is a neutral change for most people at level 1, improving from there on in. Mid lane Zyra, Morgana, Lulu and any other "meant to be a support but you can play them mid" characters will be getting more mana from Doran's Ring even at level 1.

Mage supports on the other hand do not get more mana, but their mana regen has been increased. This is a double buff because it means they get more mana regen from their gold income items.

Overall it's the exact compensation you'd expect.

I really don't believe it. You'd have to give Zilean for example, massive mana regen which could easily be broken. AD Malzahar depended on early level mana potions, but you're not going to buff AP Malzahar for it because the play styles are vastly different and would put AP malz over the edge. It's just a straight up dumb idea to begin with.

Stop doomsaying. Especially since you got it entirely wrong with saying the compensation totally killed the champions.

Let's see. Pantheon Base Mana: 317.12 from 267.12 Q 45mana W 55 mana E 45 mana he now has mana for 4 Q's for poke and Q+W+E to kill his target. LANE BULLY INDEED
