Friend needs help to find a champion

OK my friend just joined the game and he wants to find a mid/top laner. He told me what he wants in a champion "I like to have OP skills and have ok-ish Autos I also like to kind of hold a defensive spot and make sure no one gets passed I also like to support my team mates. And have the most late game damage"

I thought of Lulu and told him to search up supportive tanks that still do damage. Anyone have any ideas for him?

Lulu definitely doesn't have okish autos tbh. Ekko is the champ that fits all of that right now but that may change next patch or two.

Karma may or may not suit him, but she also fits the traits listed really well. She does tons of damage, has satisfying autos, a root-tether thing and is pretty supportive.

im thinking Leblanc OP teleport skills, with snare can hold a tower easily and has most late game damage
