I play alot of Ahri and I'd like to try jungling. I thought Ekko would be a good choice because he has lots of mobility and is assasin like, I played him a lot mid, but not Jungle. I also heard that Ekko jungle wasn't viable anymore but that was before the new new jungle. So how would I play him? Is he still viable? And are there any other champions that would better suit the role?

I'm serious, his clear is garbage, his early is garbage, and other junglers are simply more oppressive.
If you want good high mobility junglers that are also assasins, try

. They fall off super hard though (except graves, he just gets a bit trickier to play). Tank junglers are good if you feel your teammates need to be babysat constantly/things will drag out to late while still having some pressure early, champs such as

Very healthy, good mix of damage and tank built-in, and you can literally build almost anything and still have it be okay. AP? AD? Lethality? Move speed stacking? Attack speed? Armor? MR? Maybe even crit? Lifesteal? While it may not be optimal, he can use any stat an item can provide, basically. It is also one of the reasons he is fun to play, because you can change how you build him so much it almost feels like a different champion from game to game.

Grymmstrike1 votesWW was never trash for a beginner to learn. He has always been pretty much the most forgiving jungler in the game. That is why I main him, since I don't have to have any mechanical ability. Although I have to admit I do sometimes miss having a built-in excuse for not ganking, MY ULTI IS ON COOLDOWN! I can't just powerfarm these days, I have to actually put some effort into looking at the map.

As Marshbouy stated I forgot about ww (used to be my main when I was learning the game, rip), but yeah 
is definitely a good choice to learn jungle.
