I feel like we have let bard have a little TOO much leniency.

He has sort of become.. the ahri of support. Since his release date in 2015. Hasn't seen a single nerf. Not a single one. And unless i have missed something

This is proof (Did i really sit there and read through 4 seasons of bard patches to be a salty bitch? Why yes, yes i did)

Meanwhile he has the highest win rate and has been in the top 3 win rates for as far as op.gg will go back to record. And it just irritates me. I also dont watch a lot of pro play but im pretty sure he has been somewhat prominent there too. Frankly I am just tired of seeing champs be so broken with riot not really saying or doing anything.

Looked at his rates at all tiers on u.gg (which you should always be using instead of op.gg, since it's closest to Riot's internal metrics and it's not a useless piece of shit like op.gg is), he does tend to have a pretty high winrate...but he also has more than poor enough of a playrate to compensate that.

That winrate would be a concern if he didn't have that playrate. But...with it being as it is...

He has a 56% wr in masters.... are we really pretending like bards damage and kit isnt super heinous. He has literally never had a nerf. At all. And i also dont like conflating small play rates and win rates. If a champion's kit itself is just a bit overbuffed it's going to be strong regardless. Ekko's pickrate is pretty low mid but he's still busted as fuck. Which is often why pick rates are indicators of balance. There are a lot of factors in it.
