We have an AA click hotkey, why not for targeted abilities?

The attack-move-click hotkeys allow a player to hold a button and click and they will auto attack the nearest target (either to the cursor or player position). Why can't we have a similar hotkey for targeted abilities?

Namingly, and specifically to why I am asking, Kha'Zix's double jump. It would be much more convenient to be able to jump with E towards (or away) a target, tageted click hotkey with Kha'Zix's Q (so that it would Q the nearest target which is most likely the person you are killing), and then E away. That way you don't have to uneedingly move your cursor in one direction, back to a target, and back to the original direction.

I realize this may be abusable or just simply lower skill requirements, but by just making a cap to the range of targeted abilities able to use this (ie single target abilities over x range can not auto cast with the hotkey), I'm sure it would be helpful.

Thoughts?

soulds like you are searching fastcast?

EDIT: how you want to handle skillshits / not targeted skills .. like morgana e, lux e etc?

Targeted, meaning point and click (khazix q, malz e) not aimed skillshots.

why not just combine fastcast and "target champions only"?

Oh, so take the very little skill out of using targeted abilities. Great idea. Part of the "counterplay" to targeted abilities is being able to misclick on the wrong unit in a group. All this does is either make it easier or create bugs when the game can't decide which unit is closer to your cursor.

People have double jumped just fine for 6 seasons now, or however long Khazix has been out. Simply leap, cursor over before you get to the target, hit Q, Then dart your mouse out for the second leap. It's very easy.

I didn't say I couldn't double jump, that wasn't the point of the post. Plus, you could have made the exact same argument for attack move click.

"Oh, so take the very little skill out of using auto attacks. Great idea. Part of the "counterplay" to auto attacking is being able to misclick on the wrong unit in a group."

It poses the same scenario, so I thought they should be considered on a similar level for in game hot keys.

Everyone can AA. It's a benefit to all. Some use it to greater effectivness sure, but everyone is given equal treatment in the AA thing.

Not every champion has targeted spells. This is a direct buff to the easiest spell type in the game by making it easier. Especially if the idea that it only applies to melee range click spells.

Don't take mechanical skill out of those that require so little already.

That would not be a useful feature, even really short cooldown abilities like Annie Q are too valuable to just throw around at random minions.
