I went 1/1/15 as Morgana support. Warded as much as I could. Got our Vayne absolutely huge(14/2/xx) with some great bindings and black shields. I saved her life on several occasions and only died once to ensure that she lived.

Remember you are compared to other Morgana supports. A+ means you were close. You were probably slightly lacking in damage to champions, participation in objective kills, and/or CS.
There isn't a specific score threshold for any champion, it weighs your score across the board for all Morgana players. So basically you'r not bad but your also not the best.
If you hadn't died you woulda probably got S-, stop feeding. (seriously I hate when I get ONE death end game and get an A+)
Awkwardly, getting more kills helps a lot. Yes, you usually aren't supposed to steal kills as support, but the grading system is far from perfect.
If you were more like 3/1/15 instead of 1/1/15, you'd have probably gotten an S.

Riot loves looking at numbers. More damage dealt-better score. Higher KDA-better score. Higher kill participation-better score. Higher damage taken-not necessarily a good thing. More wards placed-nobody cares about vision in lower elo.
I think it scores you against other morgana players Including solo lane morgana. So I think it's hard when you pick a champion that other people play in other roles.
I think theres a thing between the champions you play, maybe morgana is counted more as a mid laner so the fact you had low cs was a problem saw someone going braum top and went 1/3/6 with 200 cs and got an S also hitting turrets also counts towards getting better chance at an S
You seem to need to buy pink wards a lot and just ward in gerneral. Even if you have pinks in good spot. Using trinkets seems to add a lot to even if you don't find anything.
I find that to get an s as a support, I have to be with a team that is at the right skill level for me go use my abilities to full effect. If they are either too good or too bad we don't get to the team fight stage where good supports shine
S on supports aren't that hard you just have to play very well I played janna support i got an S- shielded and knocked up a lot saved my team from an entire MF ult with my ult also securing a kill on there support by knocking him back,giving my ADC multiple double kills in lane,saved my team when they all dropped low and i one on one'd a Vladimir as morg support on 6.9(yes thats literally how garbage vladimir is right now)
In my experience Support has the easiest time getting an S
You literally just have to be around for team fights and objectives, it doesn't even matter if you die because there seems to be a huge tolerance for deaths on Support. Mash Aegis for easy assists if you have to.

Keep in mind it doesn't just grade you on your performance but it also compares you to the rest of the player base. As it currently stands, Morgana is the 25th most played champion right now. That means you have more competition which makes it much harder to get an S.
Play Trundle support.
I got an S+ on blitzcrank once.
Play raka and just heal your team and ward constantly, I was pushed into fill one game never played her before and got a S+
