How come there isn't a way to give a reasonable buff to Azir?

Why can't they just do one buff at a time till he has like a 52% winrate. Because 41% winrate is sad.

52% winrate in normals means 80% winrate in pro play

So...almost every champion?

Riot's found him a tough nut to crack because every buff seems to lead to him spiraling out of control in pro play, and when he's weaker he on average performs poorly but evens out with enough games played

He's going to take a while, but they aren't going to leave him like this

So...almost every champion?

50% is the average winrate of all champions combined in pro play because there are pros on both sides. Azir rules pro games even when his winrate in normals is total garbage.

Because people whine and cry too much.

Because azir's kit is inherently toxic and overloaded. If they were to buff him he would be 100% pick/ban since he can do what every other mid laner can do, but better and faster.

Because winrate isn't strength, by the time he gets 52% winrate he will reach s3 kassadins banrate, both in competitive and solo q.

because his gimmick - sand soldiers - are inherently broken. Would be super cool if your 'sand soldier' ability was actually a minion augment, making them a kind of super minion with bonuses based on what kind of minion it was to begin with. Being able to reposition actual minions would be super cool.

Azir needs buffs.
