The Reasons why you're never get out of bronze.

I got Time to spend while the house keeper cleans the house so lets post some thing that is informational.

So after Spending A long time playing this Game, even taking a break for 3 years to just relax away from it. I've noticed that somethings never change and some of those being the reasons why people are stuck in bronze.

Now I know the Common reasons why people claim they are stuck in bronze, Whether it be,

" i'm in elo hell and cant climb", " all my games have trolls" "All my games have feeders"

And so on, and lust to repeat what many many many! people have told you. " Trolls, and feeders exist in all Rankings." also " there is no such thing as elo hell" Hate to break it to you but Elo hell doesn't exist As i'll state below are the simple reason and issues why so many people are stuck in Bronze and will never climb because many of you refuse to admit you do one or more of the following.

  1. Lack of Warding if not no warding By many if not all players on the team. Hate to break it to you Bronze players but, Warding is not just the " SUPPORTS " job. Every one should be grabbing at least one pink ward and Using Their Warding tool when ever they can.

So many matches do I see and have been a part of when no one wards except the support. You see every one with the yellow Ward trinket BUT at one time you at most see 1-3 wards placed on that map that's it. VISION is important and there is no excuse to not ward a bush a objective or what not When you have counters on your ward trinket.

I don't know how many games I've been in as a support When 3-4 of my team members walk past a dragon or a Baron and don't even bother warding, But as they are backing right next to a baron or dragon they have time to type " Support pls ward Baron or dragon" EVERY ONE SHOULD BE WARDING

  1. Blaming some one for your mistakes is NOT going to make you better, Hate to break it for you but you control your own character, not a top lane not a bottom lane, only you. With that Said Stop blaming other lanes and people for your own mistakes. I don't care if your top and Bottom lane picked support MF, That Support MF has no baring on the reason why you're 0-5 and losing your opponent top lane. Or if some one picked mid Sona, Has no effect on why your team has no objective control cause your Jungle died 3 times to raptors. Stop blaming each other, you should be focused on your current game and making sure you do well.

  2. IF you are struggling in your lane Play safe, and STOP blaming others. I don't know how many times I see this in bronze, Where a lane Struggles. And suddenly they are raging At the jungle for Ganks, while they keep pushing. (this is a two part issue second part will be 3b)

3a. IF you are struggling in your lane STOP auto farming and pushing your lane, I don't know how many times I see this, especially top lanes, who die once or two and continue to push their lane. out till the enemy is 5-0 Then Decide "time to camp under my tower" and then rage about how they are getting dived. Honestly you should know before first blood or even lvl 3 if you're going to have issues in your lane. There Is no rush in this matter take the time and learn who you're laneing against and if needed. adjust your play style to it. Stop rushing for a kill or trying to force some thing that isn't there.

3b. If you're losing your lane stop raging and demanding ganks constantly. Hate to break it to you, but no jungler wants to gank a lane that is already getting fed and farmed because you don't want to play safe. I don't know how many games I witness where a lane is failing hard core and Starts raging then AFKS cause they are not getting ganks. You gotta understand When you're opponent is 4-0 and lvl 7 with items, that makes it very hard for any jungler to gank.

  1. This is for bronze junglers. When you gank a lane or visit a lane, DONT shove the lane to the tower then tell your lane to play safe, especially after they die. All you've did was now make it so they have to venture out past the mid point to get cs because you shoved the lane to the enemy tower and now the lane has to reset.

  2. Objective control > Chase This is very important That many bronze teams fail to even consider or pay attention to. Objectives > Then kills I don't know how many matches I've witness where Chasing > Then Objecives.. Where you team wins a team fight 1-4 And instead of stopping to get a dragon or baron , They instead decide to chase the Hec, through the jungle to get that 5th kill, all the while letting the team respawn. Whats worse is then After they get that 5th kill (cause eventually they do) The enemy team goes and takes both objectives cause your team is now backing to heal.

  3. GREED - This is a big issue with Bronze players, That is one of the biggest Game throwers. Bronze players need to learn when enough is enough. Take a tower cool take a Inhib Cool But know when to get out STOP being greedy and trying to force a 3rd or objective tower In their base or try to steal a buff when their already back up. This is Especially important late game, When a wipe cause of greed can cost not only a objective but also the game because of the longer spawn timers. Learn to back up and not get greedy Accept the victory you just won and don't throw it away .

  4. Big Heads are usually another reason teams wipe in bronze, simply because people get their E-peens In a bloated state because they did well in their lane.. 7-0 and suddenly they think they're jesus charging into 1-3 1-4 and even 1-5 matches. User around 4-5 deaths they get their ego knocked down a few notches and finally start to pay attention to their team but by now they've already re fed the lane they had shut down and even cost a objective or two cause of their Egos.

remember to keep your lead and make smart choices there is no point in throwing away a hard earn lead and advantage due to poor choices and bad pushes because you think you're unstoppable.

  1. Ragers Are another part of bronze that is extremely toxic. Granted every one ranking has this to its just not as dooming as it is in other rankings simple because Bronze players have this mind set of "I'm better then what I am ranked and I will get out "

This mind set then turns into a Flame war with who ever is doing bad in their match and easily just destroys an foundation of team work and what's more amusing is these same people who are flaming Can't seem to understand why the person their raging at end game has no want to even play as a team any more.

Hate to break it to you Bronzies, but Calling some one Noob, Cancer, abortion failure, heretic (Mobius reference) and retarted cause they are having a bad game and you hate them, isn't going to make them play smarter or better. in fact this will have the EXACT opposite actions on them and make them NOT want to play with you and NOT want to try.

  1. Kill hogs are a issue in bronze, I understand you want to have the BEST KDA possible so you're 50-2 which sound cool but guess what? Your lanes need gold and kills to. Its not all about you and your KDA. Yes that one hit left on jinx looks mighty tasty but let your ADC get the kill. These People ate also the first to rage at their own team members wondering why they don't do damage at 20 minutes.

  2. Know when and when not to split push, To many times have i seen this when critical moments are made in this game on defense or offence and instead of teams working together you see 1 person split pushing top lane, one person pushing bottom lane and suddenly 5 people come crashing mid towers with baron but and, neither of them comes back. instead they wait till the lane falls and then commence in raging at their team that they suck for not holding the lane.

These are just a few of the things i notice and realize in Bronze that players have issues with or do. Trust me, We are in bronze for a reason. If you have the mind set of thinking you don't do a single one of these, then accept the fact you will be in bronze for a very long time. If you can accept that you do some of these issues and some i didn't list, then hell you're already on the right path to get out of bronze.

Getting out of bronze isn't about getting top score constantly, or playing who's op. Getting out of bronze is about Improving your game play, Understanding your mechanics with champions and game. And finally .

Understanding how to play as a team and working together.

If you can't understand any of that then you will forever stay in bronze.

I agree with all except for 2:

  1. Warding. No one in bronze has any map awareness at all anyways, so going out of your way to ward or even purchase a Pink Ward for 75g will set you behind for literally no reason at all. No one will pay any attention to the wards anyways, and you're better off investing that time in farming or walking to an objective.

  2. Kill hogs. Let's be real, in bronze no one can play. So the only person you can (and should) REALLY trust in, is yourself. So grabbing all the resources for yourself and making yourself as powerful as possible should be your main objective. Giving that Ashe a kill would make her feel good, but ultimately only increase the shut down gold she'll feed once she inevitably dies again.

My guide would be: Mute everyone and only play for yourself. But that's only how I would play in Bronze. Climb to somewhere where your teammates aren't brain dead and your points make a lot of sense.

Both those points are the exact mentality that keeps people in bronze sadly you should always ward the map.

and playing your self vs the world is just another bad point

I disagree. Warding is hugely beneficial due to the fact that even if your bronze teammates don't utilize the information, you can utilize the information yourself. As more than likely, the enemy team aren't going to ward, that means you can use it to your advantage to make calls or decisions on how to proceed.

Add in the fact that warding itself lights up the area, it is still helpful if your teammate is in the vicinity and going to walk into an area and know that it's 'safe' or see an enemy hiding in it.

I am really toxic and I can agree with this. I mute everyone on the enemy team first. If any teammate says one toxic thing, I mute them

Ambient Snow1 votes

see that's not good though, I understand the muting part, but saying you're not going to ward because it takes time and gold?

1 ward yea its 75 gold but that pink ward can save you a 100+ gold deficient cause you got ganked because you had no vision, or get allow you to get a +100gold cause your team was able to get a objective cause it was warded.

and kill hogs put you in a situation where that one person HAS to do good and if they die or get ganked or fail.. well you're entire team now has to suffer because they are the only ones who got gold and were able to get full build while the others only got assist gold

want a example

look at how many items support players usually get from just " Assists" and they have a gold generating item.

But even if one player does all this your team still needs to learn it. Its very true but the only time that you see an entire team doing this is out of bronze. Teams that work together are hard to come by in bronze elo because everyone want to play the new and most broken thing hoping it carries them out of bronze when really all you need is to play with your team and it literally doesn't matter who or what you play.

Ambient Snow1 votes

Correct, the issue with any Solo Queue no matter what ranking you are is that your team has to be willing to play together and work together.

THis happens less in the lower rankings because people don't have that " Team" mentality bronze players especially pretty much join a game expecting their team to suck and be useless cause they are in bronze And have this idea that "THEY HAVE TO CARRY THEMSELVES"

That is the worst advice cause that usually ends up causing people to not play as a team and end up chasing, feeding, raging, and lack of team fights because you're only looking out for yourself and not the team

You should add: Play only 15 or so ranked games a season... That's why I'm in bronze.

Cobey1 votes

correct me if i'm wrong, I'm just a bronzie after all, but isn't it good for junglers to clear the lane after a successful gank in order to deny the enemy cs? I get that it isn't always good, like when the enemy has a chance to freeze and is very far ahead already, but I think more often than not it's pretty commonplace to make sure as many of your minions die to turret aggro as possible.

LostFr0st2 votes

Depends when the next wave is coming in. If you and your laner can't clear it and get it to reach the turret before their next wave gets there you're actually setting up a freeze for the enemy laner by yourself.

Cobey2 votes

yeah exactly, but if you know you can, the general rule is to do it, right? I feel like the original post is stating the contrary.

LostFr0st1 votes

Yeah, usually. The problem lies that people hesitate, wait, and then decide, which more often than not ends in not getting it cleared fast enough. Your laner is also often not on the same page as you, so again, it can be hard to get it pushed in. Nobody on the enemy team is going to freeze in Bronze, so it doesn't really matter.

Great guide, I'm leveling up an account right now and I'm bronze 2 and everything you pointed was right.

SkyeSmasher1 votes

It should be mandatory for every bronze player to read this or comparable material before they can even play ranked.

Tundra Hunter1 votes

Well, why do you say all this when you are Bronze 4 after 250+ ranked games this season?

Ambient Snow1 votes

As stated i took a three year break from this game, so in three years a lot of stuff has changed and characters have been re worked. highest ranking I've had this season was Bronze 1 but since then i'm just trying to learn some stuff so yes I've been out played but i just keep on chugging along..

I honestly believe a problem among low elo players is no one has a main. the one who have mains out play everyone and can think in a sense that will help them. What I do notice is that everyone just goes who they feel like at the time. I'm not saying one trick pony it but get good at about 3 champs and know them well enough in build and play style to be effective at all times. I see to little of this at bronze and silver elo.

Ambient Snow1 votes

Having mains are a good thing, But the problem with bronze and low elo ranking is the fact they have no main A larger issue that is part of it is that they want to main what PRO's play.

Low ranking such as bronze players see a mid corki and go " OMG CORKI IS OP MID" and start picking him sad to say in many of those cases the person who does this has no idea how to play corki or even do well with him

SneaselSawashiro1 votes

Then that means due to me being banned recently and still stuck in bronze, time for the world to show their contempt towards me and to tell me to kill myself for being a dumb turd who has no right to say anything.
