OK Riot before next season starts. New players need a limit to Normal games played.

Seriously tired of this crap.
Yes i'm a Silver player in ranked i know not the greatest but seriously riot i am tired of getting near my promotional matches then suddenly i get paired with a team in a un-winable situation thats complete crap.

I Get in a Ranked game with a Fresh to 30 player, Who hasn't played a single Ranked game let alone a single vs " HUMAN" game on his accounts, His duo queue partner and him just played Bots up to level 30 then join in a ranked game. And obvious from the get go have no idea how to even play vs a human.

Think at one point the blitz even states. " I have no idea how to play as red support because bots always start you green"

At one point int he game the score was 7-25 and 20 of the deaths were on those two alone bottom.

Then me and the other two players on our team get reported for negative attitude just for being frustrated at this crap we have to deal with in our match.

Seriously you guys need to stop this crap from happening, 1 to keep freshly new players from entering ranked with out some sense of practice or preparation.

2 this would also keep people from being able to just lvl up a quick smurf and getting them straight into Ranked as well.

(( And yes i looked up the players play history and saw their previous games.. and yes all of them have been vs bots except their last 3-4 games))

You know a better solution? Have them start off against people in Bronze V. If they're better, they'll know that they're better and beat the crap out of the game until they get placed higher. If they're Bronze V material, they'll stay down there.

Start at Bronze V and raise them 2 divisions per win, so if you go 10-0 in your promos, it would look like this:

B V B III B I S IV S II G V G III G I P IV P II

10-0 in placements would get you into Plat II, anything else would place you somewhere lower (but going something like 4-6 would leave you in Bronze (as I believe it is now)).

My thoughts.

How is this a QQ rant This is a serious issue that's in this game.
how are people able to play vs bots only then able to get in ranked games and ruin the game and chances for 3 other people on their team.

if you cant carry constantly you don't deserve a promo. in fact. riot puts provisionals in your promo games for a reason. happens more often than not

Yes, carry against a fed bot lane which is 2 out 5 members of a team meaning 40% of the enemy team who also have the 3rd highest roaming capability after the mid laner and jungler (Who also have the best chance of securing dragon which is a major snowballing and late game buff). Bot lane is probably the most volatile and explosive lane in terms of carrying a game. Incompetent jungler? Dominate your lane and you'll probably do well enough. Incompetent mid laner? Might run into some problems but shouldn't be too hard to handle if you keep your wits about you while the enemy mid is MIA. Incompetent top laner? Most of the time you can finish the game before their splitpushing is relevant (Or Nasus' Q stacks are too high). Incompetent bot lane? (Only if both get absolutely destroyed. Sometimes I have games where the AD or support are shit but their counterpart help carry the game) gg, have fun with a roaming duo that can secure almost any objective while also being potentially twice as much fed than any other lane can.

This has nothing to do with people in Promotions.

This has some thing to do with players. Who have NEVER played a game vs a human before because they leveled from 1-30 vs AI bots. then their first 3 matches are vs humans.

You've got about 500 games played and are sitting just above bronze - It took me about 66 games (counting placement) to hit silver from b3 and I think around 166 total (starting from placement to hit s3 before I started bouncing in between tiers again.

By now you should realize that games where 1 or 2 people are in placement aren't going to skew your win:loss rate that badly - that's why.

I play bots far more than I pvp yet still manage to consistently hit at least silver. On the flipside, I see people with 3 times my pvp wins still struggle against the ai.

Does it suck when you get unexperienced folks in ranked? Sure. Hell I've even lost a game where one of the enemies was 0/51/0 because the rest of that team was able to work together far better than my own. But you'll end up winning games where you don't do so hot and lose games where you do great.

If anything ruins the game its people that think they're better than they actually are.

And for the Record, I was gold, at the start of the season, but got tired of losing a bunch of matches when riot was getting hit with DDos Every other day. So i quit playing for a few months, think 3 months came back and i was now demoted to Bronze 3.

Got back up to silver 5 in 1 week.

then got stuck there with the end of the season trolling and bs.

Well since you bring it up, it's possible to luck out and hit gold early on - getting a steady stream of strong teams early can bump folks up a lot higher than they'd normally get on their own. Unfortunately for you they hadn't changed the decay at that point.

I remember the ddos and it was more than enough to put folks off though. However I find it hard to believe you were gold and dropped to bronze from sheer inactivity. I know the decay system hadn't been readjusted but bronze didn't decay if I remember correctly (meaning it took losses to drop to b3).

I personally am not fond of the current promo system - while in theory it sounds nice, it does open up avenues of people intentionally losing (crab mentality).

Bots haven't been blue side only for a long while now. There was no red side, it was purple till a patch or two ago. Not even sure where the green came from.

The reality is not everyone goes into ranked "prepared". Just look at any typical thread complaining about bronze. The rune pages (or complete lack of) from some of those folks is cringeworthy.

I can still remember bronze games where I had to play way better than I should have had to just to secure a win because my teammates struggled so hard.

All in all, you can knock on the teammates left and right but win or lose your priority should be getting better. You may never play with the same people again in a single season but you're always the person behind your champion.
