AP Janna as ADC

I'll start off by saying that this is more of a thought than something I'd do all the time. Simply wanting feedback and ideas on if this could work out well.

Ok small disclaimer done with:

Most people understand that AD Janna works due to getting a free MS buff and AD buff (approx. a BF sword for free), and in the right hands, can dominate a game.

AP Janna does the same in different ways.

The thought I had however, is to build an AP Janna, but have certain key items to make her do more AD. The premise is that you give her a Death Cap, a Luden's Echo, and a Mejais for the AP, then Infinity Edge and Rapid Firecannon with Beserker's Greaves and Furor's enchantment.

What I see this doing, is having enough ap to support your team while they are in a fight, but when you see the opportunity, you shield yourself and begin to act as a second ADC, with the potential to get as much AD as you might normally, due to the shield scaling.

I might suggest changing out IE with Last Whisper into whatever would benefit more at the moment, if they build armor.

Any ideas? If you try this, why did you see it work/ fail? I would love some feed back to see if ADC Janna with AP focus works well with the new masteries :D
