Legacy skin shards could be more useful [suggestion]

What about trading legacy skin shards?

At the moment, I think I'm one of those people that doesn't in general want a skin just because it's something that's not default. That's why I like the skin shard system. If I don't like a skin, I can just disenchant it and craft something else.

Normally, I don't have complaints about the loot or shard system or whatever people call it, but I feel like this event's orbs are somewhat not hitting the mark for being attractive items to pick up with tokens.

For me, I notice there are lots of legacy skins that I wouldn't want although there are many more than a few I would like as well. I'd feel I wish I'd spent my tokens on a champion shard if I picked up the orb and got a skin shard I didn't want unless I could trade it to someone else. So, considering this is a special event, why not make these orbs feels like a good investment and let players trade off their undesired legacy skin shards?

Normally I don't make a fuss over not being able to trade free stuff, but legacy skins are different. They are so much harder to get, so getting them in the hands of players that love those skins seems like it would be a great move by Riot since they don't sell those skins anyway.
