Changes to the Runes and Masteries Systems?

Riot,

Should we expect some good changes to the rune system? For example, removing some of the runes, buffin' others, implementing new ones, etc?

Also... should we expect masteries changes too? I'm aware that masteries changed already this year, but for me it was just a small tweak... should we expect something big?

If they changed masteries I doubt it'd be a big thing. The only people I've seen do big changes like that was World of Warcraft with Talents 2.0. I did enjoy that change (did not like cookie cutter builds, which is a lot of what masteries do) but I doubt LoL is the right game for such a change.
