The new "Graves"...

Am I the only one that's feeling completely miserable about the changes on Graves? Recharge system that does not get really fast as your attack speed goes up. His range remains the same, despite the fact that he wields a freakin' shotgun. His new Q is really strong, but also really difficult to use properly. His AA's clear waves pretty fast, which kinda difficult freezing the lane, almost like Tristana... Seriously... I think they messed it up this time.

I'm pretty happy to see Miss Fortune in the spotlights again as a wombo combo adc; I'm pretty happy to see the changes to Caitlyn, and specially to Quinn, but when it comes to Graves and Kog'maw... I think Graves is going to be useless now, while Kog'maw can exterminate a whole team in 4 seconds.

I'm really, really sad. Graves was the almost perfect adc for me. The only downside was his range, but he was pretty powerful and had a really useful passive, so it's ok to have low range.

Please, Riot. Revert that. You could make his autos burn the target, just a little, or make something to enhance his recharging time, or even add more ammo to his gun, so that he does not have to back off after 2 shots everytime. =( Doesn't make any sense that he has to recharge while all other adc's don't.

I think that these changes are great. True, his lane-freezing will be less controllable, similar to Tristana, but the concept of his buckshot fits much better with his lore and persona. I haven't seen his Q in action, but I believe it will give him a higher skill cap. Also, I think his ult will feel much more powerful with the knockback, and it can be more easily used as an escape mechanism. Before it felt like he was just shooting another bullet, but now I think it will feel like a giant explosive charge, proportional to the damage it will do.

His range was reduced by 100 to 425 (equal to Teemo).

Not all champions need to be homogeneous. Graves' basic attack paradigm is probably different enough to warrant the ammo system.

They're trying to get champs to fell individual, and how they would actually be. And a shot gun is not a delicate thing, it doesn't have a lot of ammo, and just hits everything in front of you.

they increased his weaknesses but also increased his strenghts. early game it was fine to stay close to your target for assasination, but late game he had to back off for fear of being collapsed, now it's always a bad idea to stay near him. think about the best case scenario.

I'm really trying to think about the best case scenario, but... if attack speed is not a status that you would want to build on him... how is he going to face a Kog'maw, for example? And what about assassin junglers, like Yi, Rengar...? Sure, his autos do more damage now, but picture a Master Yi with 2.0 attack speed (with a lot of changes to atk spd items) dilacerating him in 1.5 seconds, while he may need to use his two shoots and maybe a third, if Master Yi has lifesteal. How is he going to ''could you please stop so I can recharge and we can continue the fight''? =/ That made me real sad.

They could've used some grenade-related ideas on him... maybe turning his autos into smaller versions of his ult, with a spread passive like Twitch's ult, that would burn the targets for a small quantity of DoT, scalling up with his AD. His ult could've become a grenade that would do a decent ammount of damage and burn and pushes all targets in the area. His Q could be this new one...

His auto attacks do not push the lane since the bullets do not pass through enemies. You can position yourself so that only one minion is hit by the attack. The auto attack reload is just a matter of getting used to. The time it takes to reload is not that huge.

I just watched a game where Graves was used as a jungler and did quite well. This definately opens up more choices for him.

Yes, but... imagine how effective his ganks would be, since his only cc is a bit of slow. I think Mundo, Olaf, would be better jungler choices.

Oh, God. Does anyone knows when we will have this preseason on the official servers?

He's almost a meele champion now. I doubt he'll be used in bot anymore.
