With the new Fiora update reveal, East Coast ping is even more of a problem than ever
In the recent Fiora update reveal, her Riposte is stated to reflect incoming damage and hard crowd control abilities from a target direction for a fraction of a second. This means that a high to even decent ping will prevent the full use of the ability, especially at close ranges. The example is probably the best case scenario: a slow Morgana binding telegraphed from close to max range. But what about faster skillshots -- Ahri's Charm, Elise's Cocoon, Tristana's Buster Shot, etc. -- and melee range CCs? One would likely need to cast Riposte during the cast animation of the skill, which prevents people with slow reaction times or even medium (90~100) ping from using the skill to its fullest potential, much like the Insec kick.
Players on the East Coast already need higher reaction times than those on the West Coast to flash certain skills, and now they require that higher reaction time to use a portion of a champion's kit.
