Vladimir is one of my favorite champion and i really like to play him. Whenever i want to pick him,my team simply bans him or calls me a troll... why is his winrate so bad and his playrate so low? HE can carry games super hard but lacks cc. Rylais make him able to get picks and peel just a little. CAn someone plz tell me 2hat is wrong with him and why hes considered so bad? Also is it worth practicing for a silver player like me?

his winrate is super low but only because most players don't know how to play him right.

HE can carry games super hard

exactly, if you are confident that you can play him, he is still a strong and viable pick, even in competetive.

He is only thrash if you have no idea of him and first time him.

He can be good but most players don't know how to play him well, I mean he was picked several times this year at worlds so he has to have some kind of potential right?

really high skillcap

Funny because people always complain that he's a no-skill champ when I stomp them lol.

ik that feeling, it's just cause he can be oppressive if you don't rush a grievous wounds item

Not really. I make it a point to not be an issue because of sustain, but because of damage.

If people buy GW, I don't care. I'm there to 1 shot your back line and have my team roll over you if you focus me. I'll roll over your team if you don't, though.

His sustain is just a bonus; its most noticeable during early laning or simply when denying jungle gold/exp.

when you trade with him it can become "fight fight fight, then he heals for a chunk", that's what I meant by oppressive, not passive sustain

No, he's not that bad.

You have to learn how to play like a bitch in lane and still get CS, but by mid-game you outscale everyone. He's always been like that.

His winrate is low because people think he can bully in lane when he can only bully idiot's win beat with any other champion in lane. That, and people are still building him tanky.

item 3001 item 3157 item 3116 item 3089 item 3135 item 3158 +10% CDR from runes with summoner 4 summoner 6 + Storm Raider's Surge.

He deals an average of 187.5% AP every 2.75-3 seconds FFS, plus bases and HP scaling without including his ult or W.

That's how you do well with Vlad. Get used to farming safely in his early game and you'll have a 60%+ winrate in no time.

Oh, and play him top lane when you can over mid lane. A lot of mid match-ups are extremely out of his favor, forcing you to go Spirit Visage, which is objectively a bad rush on him now.

i prefer DFT forr keystnes what do u think?

WoonStruck1 votes

I'd only take DFT if you're against 3+ tanks.

Not worth giving up the insane teamfighting/kill potential that SRS gives you. The 5% CDR or additional magic pen are both huge too.
