Slight bit of context on yasuo buffs.

Yasuo Build & Runes - Instantly Discover the Best Yasuo Strategy and Win

Yas mid in diamond + has 45.5% winrate and is the rank 37/39 midlaner, yes he still has a solid pickrate and a high banrate but with a winrate like that he's clearly still having trouble.

From what i can tell w/ this buff they want to reward the good yasuo's who can get a multi-man ult in later game teamfights, which is arguably one of the areas yasuo as a champion struggles since he is squishy and can get blown up easily in the duration of 1 CC.

I think that the yasuo hate bandwagon is over-reacting to this buff, its not a huge buff to his 1v1, as +/- ~150-200 damage on an ability that would only be used once in a 1v1 isnt usually going to be the deciding factor.

It IS however a reasonable buff to his 2v2-5v5 as it rewards hitting more people with ult with a little chunk more damage.

An OVERPOWERED buff, would be increasing the duration of the time his ult keeps you in midair, THAT would be gamebreaking, ~200 extra damage per-target on ult will help Yasuo in teamfights, but will not make him "god tier op"

But as it is Yasuo one of the most hated champs in the game, I'm sure the circle jerk will continue.

its not a huge buff

Dude, it's literally a bonus +100% AD ratio on top of the current existing 150%. If it was something like bonus 25-50% then I would of said fair enough.

But to be honest, I would be fine with this bonus +100% AD ratio on his R if they lowered the Armor Penetration on his crits. Which would buff the skill part of him landing the knock-up as you said.

Ok, if you want to reward him for skill, change his ult to only work off of landing his Q tornado.

The issue is less that he recives buffs(atleast for reasonable people), it's how those buffs look like.

Boaeds: "Overall damage is to high and to much upfront burst leading to way to low TTK" ** Riot: ** "we hear you, see we nerf those keystones a bit" Boards: "Great, it's no much, but it's something and a first step into the right direction" Riot: "Now that the peps are pleased, time to up the burst once more, give Yasuo an aditional 100% bAD scaleing on his ult!"

Like seriously, all that time we complain about damage beeing to high, about TTK beeing to low, and about 1 weak after acknowledging that damage is indeed to high and TTK certainly is to low, they just continue to increase the upfront burst damage in the game...

They could have easily buffed some of his base stats or the passive shield to get him into a better spot rather than increasing his burst potential.

Though it's not just Yasuo, it's all changes exept for the tank buffs that just shove more damage into the game. Everytime Riot wants to buff an (in their eyes) underperforming champ, all they do is increasing some damage numbers. Olaf drops like a stone mid-lategame because he explodes befor reaching a target in teamfights? Lets increase his AS to boost early cleartimes!! Vel has some issues because he's a bit unreliable and pops instandly once someone closes the gap? Increase his damage so once he hits someone it really hurts!! Lee isn't dominateing proplay yet? Increase his Burst!!! Heca isn't doing to well? Up with his damage we say!!! Fizz not doing to well after the changes? MOre Burst guys, we need more Burst here!

And that's basically the pattern for the last few years...atleast nerfs look similar focused on damage numbers, though it's still s rather shallow way to balance and often doesn't adress the actuall issues.
