My thoughts on the new ranking system.

Seeing how it garnered quite a bit of praise, I still remain skeptical to the potential abuse. Say, for example, if I was a Gold level mid and bronze level support, if I get auto-filled or placed in a position I don't want, I could not care about that position because it doesn't affect my main rank. Now what we have is someone at bronze trying their best in their main position? This would be completely unfair to them.

With the current system, auto fill affects your core rank, so if you don't try when autofilled, you risk downgrading your core mmr. The new system just makes it easier for people to give up earlier when they're playing off role.
