Good Mid Laners 5.2?

After the removal of DFG and the gutting of some assassins, I would love some feedback on some viable mid-laners. I am very efficient with Zed, but I want a secondary pick in case if he gets banned or picked.

Lissandra Azir Zed those are the ones that I would use mainly liss because of free casts and her utility.

Removal of DFG is a Godsend. It has actually opened up Mid Lane for more diversity. Sure for the current moment champs who were reworked to compensate for item might be a little lacking but they'll be fixed up as time goes on. It leaves AD assassins like Zed and Talon a little stronger than they should be right now--especially if you pick champs that have been nerfed by DFG removal. But on the other hand, it opens up more champs to the mid lane again like I said in the beginning. You can actually pick up the champions who hit a power spike a bit later than usual because you don't have to worry about getting blown up the moment they buy their DFG.

However with the recent mana regen nerfs, mana users are forced into buying morello, and really heavy users like Ziggs aren't viable.
