Quick Question for Meddler

The removal of several queue types has caused to game to stagnate quite a bit for me.

I was just wondering, why was teambuilder removed when it filled a niche not filled by anything now?

I know this question has been asked and discussed before, but this issue has become more apparent in the weeks and months following season 6. There's no mode where I can queue up, sit back, and wait to play EXACTLY the champion and position I want to play. The queue times were long, but it was far faster than playing several games just to hopefully get the exact one I want. Plus after playing a lot of the new champ select (which I love for all its flaws, so much better than the old draft mode), it doesn't have any of the same draw as teambuilder does, so it wouldn't be splitting the queues or community.
