Why does people like the game when it's easy?

I just read about the new mage update that will occur to 6 champions and one of the listed were Vladimir, and one of the comments were saying like " no dont turn his abilities into skillshots" or whatever, and it had quite high amount of likes. i mean Vladimirs Q are so broken in some matchups so he can just walk up to the opponent and spamm Q until he's forced out of lane and if the opponent tries to fight back he might deal some damage that vladimir just will get back from his Q anyways. his kit are simply unoutplayable in some cases which i believe is wrong.

What i dont get is that so many people agree that it would be bad to change this, so my question is WHY do people enjoy the game when it's so easy?

Another example would be pantheon, he cant miss his stun or his Q when poking. he just walks up to you and W Q E half hp gone and you cant do anything about it. Lanes that are completely unwinnable in a 1v1 cenario is bad in my opinion. you should always have a chance to outplay someone to win countered or not.

And the reason im doing this is because i just lost lane as gnar against a pantheon, and after the game i was mad and complained about how dumb the champion is. and my teammates were like " you dont need to win, just go even. " but i dont see going even as a really good thing. you either win or lose and not even having the chance to win just seems so retarded to me. and all i got from the enemy team were words such as " you talk like a bronze player" "haha rage more" etc.

Have been typing to much, the only thing i want to know is why people want the game to be easy.

Well... that's what we get by spamming 'counterplay' and 'flashy' and 'outplay' and 'mechanics'.... understood Rito? People just forget what League is. Because League is not like CS or COD where everything is reaction and "skill" based...

In League lane tactics and team strategys are important, it's about the ability to anticipate the opponents actions permanenty. If two point&click champs meet each other things are getting really interesting.. sure noone can dodge the opponents DMG but they can sustain them, they can force each other to use them and abuse CDs to work out an advantage.

OFC Skillshots are an important part of this game, too. They're adding additinal depths and variables. But it seems like we've passed a point where things like tactical lanes and resource managment are called toxic and OP... (Do you have any idea how much Mana Panth needs to permanently poke with Q?)

You lost to Panth because you lacked the skill to beat him - not button mashing skills, knowledge skills. You didnt know his strenth nor his weaknesses, you didnt respect his power curve and started his snowball. AND! This is more important, you didnt bother to think about how to beat him next time, instead you flame about his toxic abilities because we all learned point&click = toxic... and nothing else is the reason you have lost... yeah GJ Rito!

yep... that's what I'm talking about... sigh... For real Riot... do you really want to make a full mainstream FLA$HY $KILL$ game.. or keeping League.. League..

(Interesting, I never supported this $$RITO$$ crap... but this post made me to - It's just unbelievable how this community and its mentality has changed.)

Vlad's a bad example because champions like Darius can just pull him in if he tries to harass with Q. So he's forced to farm minions instead of even thinking about harassing.

Pantheon has more counterplay because his W can be stopped (but not the stun.) And if you have more defense/sustain than him, you pretty much win through attrition and he can't recover. Low counterplay is a double-edged sword.
