No one listens to pings?

I'm a hardstuck diamond V noob atm and i just get so frustrated because i lose way too many games than i should because people wont listen to pings. last game mid, syndra vs yasuo (i'm syndra) yasuo starts walking towards toplane i spamm ping at least 5-6 times that he might be on the way. Since there was no vision i couldn't follow so i even typed in chat "i cant follow yasuo probably is coming top" and neither akali or lee sin reacts so they give him a free double kill. same lee sin gave first blood when i got chunked by yasuo really early into the game and i had to recall, mid recall elise shows up and interrupts between the two outer turrets i spamm ping that she was there lee sin doesn't care and walks down river gets caught and dies. it's the same thing when you see the vision plant go off in the jungle and you ping missing enemies or whatever, 2 seconds later your botlane dies from a gank when they obviously SHOULD know that the jungler is close by.

is this something that happens in even higher tiers? like diamond 2 and up?
