Boomerangbro1 votesShe's an immobile mage that is in the worst 5 champions in the game as of now according to metalol.com. She needed this. Also, she's not played competitively.
Zed sees frequent play and also has seen his fair share of competitive play.
Syndra will not be broken, she'll just have something to fall back on when she gets jumped on by all the League of Mobility champs.
La9wa1 votesShe didn't "need" this. There are many immobile mages in this game, yes she needed buffs but not game breaking buffs.
Just picture it, you max Q then E on Syndra so now you get 15% bonus true damage every 3sec on a regular build and since your Q is already a decent damage source, that's broken. Your E having twice the width seems like more than enough of a buff. You could pull off some insane stuns with it now.
And you realize she's going to get harsher nerfs because of this and be in an even worse spot in more patches? Just like Leblanc had her W and E nerfed when she had 1 sec added to her W?

MarshallBananna2 votesSyndra is an immobile, mana defendant champ that requires careful rotation of her spells to kill somebody, with a fairly telegraphed play pattern and a weak, mana inefficient poke early game. Positioning is key as she has no escape mechanism and her long range poke is defendant on her relative position to her orbs.
Zed is an ungodly abomination of a champ, with free, long range poke, stupidly safe gameplay, outrageously easy farming early game which is unwarranted for an assassin, and no mana to manage or built items for. It is a design abortion that's unfortunately just flashy enough to look at to warrant it's continued existence in this game.

Meep Man1 votesSyndra buff is ok. 15% of the ability's damage as true damage is good and not too powerful. As I have said several times, the Zed buff... no way its alone. Gotta be something coming with it.
