Discussion: Should Urgot be Remade into a Jungler?

Urgot is an interesting champion. His theme is relatively malleable and could be reworked into a whole slew of different things. My question; Is Urgot destined to be a designated jungler? Before anyone says "I already play Urgot jungle!" My point is not so much "can he", but more, should his rework make him more focused on that role specifically?

In his spotlight, it was made pretty clear that they originally had no intention for him to be a bot lane ADC (especially since that role didn't even exist at that point). Instead, it says that he "relies on his high early damage to bully his lane opponent, before transitioning into a late game tank or assassin" What role right now best fits the need for high early damage, but late scaling utility? The jungle! Urgot's rework could keep so much of what he has now, and with only minor changes could make him a very viable, very fun jungler. If they make his shield scale off of HP, reduced his damage a little, but then gave him % bonus damage to monsters, he could already be a long way towards being viable.

Urgot should be a Tank when he is reworked, not an ADC

Urgot is weak right now because in lane, when he is strong, he is incredibly un-fun to play against. He can harass from very long range while being quite tanky and hard to counter. Thus, he is nerfed until they can fix him. If they made his Acid hunters deal only 10/35/60/85/110 (+70% AD) down from 10/40/70/100/130 (+85% AD), but deal 50% bonus damage to monsters (15/47.5/90/127.5/165 (+105% AD)), it would further decrease his toxic bully potential in lane, but give him a strong clearing tool. They also should reduce his basic attack range to 300 flat, from 425, so that he wouldn't keep trying to think he is an ADC. His shield should scale like this: 80/130/180/230/280 (+40% AP) (+10% Bonus HP) instead of like this: 80/130/180/230/280 (+80% AP). Other than that, his kit is already quite well suited to jungling, since his shield allows him to slow (good for ganks), he can reduce monster damage while jungling because of his passive, and he could finally be a real initiator with his ult (which would also allow for potent ganks).

What are your thoughts? Should Urgot be redesigned Primarily as a jungler?

I would rather them rework him into a Top Lane or ADC. Urgot's kit screams lane bully to me and he could be reworked into a good one with more of the old Urgot for Urgot fans in tact. A long range Tank is ok as long as they aren't also mobile.

He already works as a top laner and adc (Mid lane for SOME comps)

His ult as a ganking tool sounds terrifyingly strong. Just for realising that, I say yes to this.

you're not showing anything new here.

whatever you're saying, is a matter of numbers, and about switching him into a jungle with his same errors. now, look, you're suggesting his rework to be somewhat fitting for a jungle, the thing being, you're just deleting his current lane statues, which is something you should NEVER be doing to ANY champ, riot doesn't like to limit a champion to a certain role, they might STRONGLY suggest you play him in a certain spot, but they will never design something to be solely restrict to a role.

now that being said, you need to understand that urgot has 1 playstyle, landing his Q. thats all that's it, you didn't mention anything about actually removing a skill and replace with another one to give urgot another playstyle other than solely his Q damage, which by the time it stops doing damage you're basically !@#$ed

his ult doesn't fit his role at all, nor does his passive, if you plan on getting into THE MELEE range to Trade, then you already lost on the long term. you can never utilize his passive in a lane, since you'll be poking and running.

Change his Passive, Change his ult, extend his Q Cooldown time, and make it apply on hit, Change his W and E to grant him MORE Damaging spells, with TANKY passive.

one last thing, with his current base stats, reducing his Range to 300 would be the WORST thing you would ever do to urgot. he might look the part, but urgot got stats of no tank

It's supposed to be a discussion. I'm only throwing out bait to get people to start thinking about how he should be changed. My ideas that I posted were only to get the ball rolling, so your response is the desired result. I'm not asking for exactly what I suggested, I'm just trying to get a feel for what everyone else thinks he should become.
