GP is now even more useless

I was excited for the rework, but I didn't realize they were going to scrap a solid e buff skill for a shitty keg that can never be used since everyone and their mother just hits it before you do. I just neglect the kegs now as they are actually more of a hindrance than they are of any use. Focused on trying to make your kegs work for you? Hey you just lost plenty of cs trying to focus on doing that. Put a keg down? Hey enemy champ just got some free gold. Think everyone in the team fight is to busy to avoid your keg placements? Well the odds of your kegs hitting anybody is still meek and you probably just died as you were to focused on trying to make use of those kegs in the fight. Kegs suck. This idea was so stupid. His e should've just been called "donate gold" instead. I'll just play with 3 skills from now on and not 4. kegs get you into more trouble than they are worth. Matter of fact screw gp. Done playing him.

Learn to time your hits and predict enemy placement.

It's worth it to practice timing Q shots to hit them at the perfect moment. That doesn't change that groups can still take them out immediately, but that happens with just about any destructible placement

Hiding them in bushes and then chaining them is also a good way to control teamfights, especially near objectives

His old E was stupid. Just made him a dumb ball of stats and gave him obnoxious base movespeed, which combined with his permaslow made him infuriating to fight against. He was by no means overpowered, just toxic.

Hmm, the reworked GP is like a new champion, so it takes time for people to figure him out his tricks. His new E is used primarily for wave clear and farming up silver serpents very quickly by using his Q to detonate the barrel. It can also be used to control space on the battlefield and the cast range is quite large. I feel that his E opens up a lot of possibilities in his kit and feels rewarding when you hit an enemy champion. The new GP is stronger than the old GP, but people just don't know how to use him effectively yet.

The reason why Riot allows the enemy to destroy the barrel is for COUNTERPLAY. GP must have some defined weaknesses.

Next time, don't complain on the threads and instead, learn how the new GP works. If you don't want to play him anymore, than that's fine because GP is not right for you.

as far as ive seen, gp is exactly the same with decent waveclear now.

are people even aware, that exploding the keg with the q will cause every creep who dies to it to grant the bonus gold and silver serpents? it even seems to apply sheen to everyone in the area.

ive seen some people using this to their advantage and they did rather will with it. they autod every minion once or twice, put the keg down and got a shower of gold for exploding a keg with a q. if you do this consistently, youll gain a massive amount of bonus gold out of it.

yes, he changed, but except for his e his abilities are still the same, with only slight changes. q is still the same, so is w, and his ult.
