This is a whole different champion, so a name change would be fitting.
I mean they even changed his tittle to a colossus, which has nothing to do with a gargoyle. Which is not bad, cause he does look like a colossus, so i guess they got that right, just don't use the word Gargoyle ever again.
Technically, he was never a gargoyle.
Also, technically, he is still a gargoyle-like construct.
I would prefer if there were more mainstream 'gargoyle' in his design, mostly bat wings instead of angel wings, but it's tolerable how it is. He does look cool.
I hate his visual update. It's ugly as hell and looks nothing like how he used to. Sure old Galio's model was out of date but look at how well they fixed Warwick up. This might as well be a whole new champion with old Galio getting deleted. At least it still looks like I can support with him (Maybe). I just wish he still had a massive taunt and hopefully he gets to keep his W because I loved that ability so much.
When new people join this game after the rework they will have no idea he was ever a gargoyle. Looks more like a weird mix of a golem, titan, and Kayle's wings.
