Tips for getting into plat?

Hi, I am one tricking yorick support to plat. Anyone got any general tips? Bronze/silver were easy but I'm hitting a wall in gold 1. Here's my op.gg if it'll help. https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=SnakDatSmilesBak

Jezus man, the fact that you even got to that rank with yorick support is amazing, considering its kind of a troll pick. Id advice to either take your yorick into the top lane now if you are familiar with the lane mechanics or if you want to continue playing support switch to something meta, if you want to deal damage there is zyra brand velkoz, utility — morganna tresh braum, tahm kench etc.

Sneaking suspicion this is more of a post to brag about getting to gold 1 playing yorick support. There's no significant difference in what you'd need to do to get to gold 1, and plat 5 lol. Other than the obvious advice im sure most would give which would be to play yorick top...

I've seen Barrel sized version a long time ago.... Mm, about 4' tall. No, I don't remember where, and No, I can't fathom why someone needs one that large.

Worked in silver but not in gold. People are too smart for that zzrot cheeze to work in gold, or maybe I'm too dumb haha.

Increase your toxicity level. You have to have "mental battles" with the enemy, get them to tilt. Encourage your team with encouraging 3 letter words or acronyms.

Friend request enemies after every game, and let them know how poor their performance was. Make sure to also PM the lowest scoring person on your team as well.

You'll be on the high road to D5 if you can do that. After D5, enjoy your fucking ban.

My advice to climb out of gold: Shotcall. In gold they start listening when you ping your team back if you're not there yet. Tell them what objectives to focus or ask for a rotation of for example botlane during midgame. Maybe your calls aren't the best but it's much better then doing no calls.

Play a lot of games. Legit you will probably have an afk 1 of every 3 games. That was my plat experience, super toxic not much you can do but not tilt.

Apply as much pressure as you possibly can while splitting, and don't die while doing it. Also get vision of the jungle depending on what lane you're in. (If you're splitting bot, ward the enemies entire bot jg) Splitpush in the lane farthest from the next objective. (If your team wants drag, split top.)

Edit: Realized you're support Yorick. Once you get around plat, people will start tilting/flaming/dodging because you picked yorick support. Don't listen to toxic people, mute button is your friend
