If you go into a movie theater and buy a ticket to see Finding Dory but halfway through the film decide that you don't like it and proceed to proclaim your dissatisfaction at the top of your lungs, you will be kicked out of the theater. You will not be refunded, you will not be treated kindly at all, in fact.

Why do people expect refunds when they're banned from league? It's the same principle. You're paying for an entertainment service. You are not buying a good for you to own. If you break riot's rules you get kicked out and cut off. You gave them your money and now it's their money and still their service.

TLDR; RIOT WILL NOT AND SHOULD NOT REFUND ANYTHING IF YOU ARE BANNED FOR BREAKING TERMS OF SERVICE

Actually it's even more so for Leauge....

You legit accept a contract in order to play... Don't accept a contract in order to watch a movie..

(Yes I know terms of service does NOT equal a contract same concept though)

Not true....you can actually complain that a movie is bad and/or hard to watch and get a refund from the theater. As far as riot goes, they do a work around because you buy "RP". You never actually purchase an item directly, hence they can skirt around the refund issue. As a side note......on riots refunds in the store....you never get money back.....you get the RP back. RP is basically like a middleman for legal maneuvering.

This is the dumbest thread I've ever seen on here. Not only is the analogy bad, it's just untrue. I've literally gotten my money back for walking out of movies.

This thread lacks a basic understanding of economics, and business. There are other theaters I can go to, there aren't other servers you can play this game on.

Then there is the comments about how great buying skins from a company that says they can take them away at any time. Let's not pretend this is smart purchasing.

So stupid.

honestly I compare it to the average console game wher you get about 12-18 hours of gameplay for 60$ "doesn't include online just single player story" this comes out to around 5$ an hour.... honestly you could buy half the skins in the game and be banned after a year and should still be content that you got your moneys worth because your looking at a an hour a day which ends up being 365 hours a year which would result in about 1800 dollars worth of story player console gameplay///

It's an issue that you can't return a skin you don't like. I understand that if you had a skin from season 1, then you had more then enough time to refund it, why not? But let's say if in a few days you bought a skin and you found it to be pretty lack luster, then why shouldn't you be able to return it?

I'll give you an example.....we complained that movie Cloverfield was bad and near unwatchable. Some people even got sick watching it lol.....so yes , you can get your money back from a theater.

Thought this was a thread about how this game isn't actually Free to Play lol. Yeah thinking you get refunds for being dumb is stupid. Your example is bad tho idk if you're american but here if you complain about anything you can get either a refund or a crazy discount on something (like free tickets to a different movie or whatever) it's actually stupid. I have gotten so much embarrasment from a specific friends parent because he has this mentality that if things dont go exactly right he deserves to berate employees, demand a manager, and yells his way into shit. Good ol US of A

But yeah, dont bitch about refunds if banned like you mustagotten warned and yet continued to do things like be toxic so you deserve to lose your stuff.

(Also League isn't free to play unless you have the money to literally focus on nothing but league with all of your time. I'm just tacking that on.)
