Look, I get your point. The other guy is solo carrying, so clearly it's not impossible, right?
Except that's not the point people are making... The guy who got fed and solo carried, didn't do it because he played well. He did it because his opponent played poorly.
Obviously it's hard to conclude that naturally, but when you're trying to carry versus this guy, and outplay him so hard multiple times, but it doesn't matter because of his item lead, that's why people feel this way.
Like when I'm 3/0 and can kill the enemy 8/0 1v1, then kill him again 1v1, and continue to kill him 1v1 every chance I get, BUT between each of those 1v1s he gets 2-3 kills on my idiot allies. I'm the better player, he's got 5, 7, 11 kills up on me and I'm still killing him in 1v1s when he's on the duelist and I'm on the teamfight champ. That's where people complain that you can't solo carry. He didn't solo carry - my allies "multi-fed". I couldn't solo carry them.
u realize that when ppl talks about unable to solo carry they are talking about beign a midlaner/top laner who won lane /smashed his laner but still cant carry cause his botlane lost there lane or the enemy botlane is fed beyond belive that he cant do jack shit to stop them
i want to be able to snowball the game by myself and carry alone at the same time I complain about game being too snowballed /s
OP: people need an excuse for why they don’t win.
This has been true since season 0. “Can’t Solo carry” means that THEIR MAIN cant solo carry anymore.
champions that can't 1v2/1v3 and split push OR have constant global presence aren't solo carry champions
most champions possess neither of these traits
so people conclude that you can't solo carry
gotta remember that towers = wins and unless you can give the adc the opportunity to attack the towers (panth, sol, tf, junglers, kass, junglers), you'd better have substantial pushing power of your own (yi, trynd, jax). otherwise you aren't gonna solo carry
how many times have you seen zed players get 10+ kills and still lose? they can't take objectives on their own. they've gotta rely on their team to take the opportunities they give them with the absence of enemies.
I can't solo carry because a) I'm not a Diamond playing in silver elo (I'm a silver MAYBE low gold playing in silver elo) and b) invariably my games become a 1v2 with me as the 1 and enemy top and mid as the 2. (or jg + a solo lane) I hate that the game (as others have said) is not who is BEST but who is WORST. The game sucks that I need to be carried because if I'm the best on my team then the others are REALLY bad. If I'm the worst on my team, I can stop the bleeding before my opponent gets fed and another lane can carry because my opponent ain't some unstoppable machine filled with gold and XP from my shitty play. But If I'm the best, then my teammates suck balls and SOMEONE (if not multiple people) on the enemy team has a 3-4 level advantage and is gonna one-shot me.
Really, even if I'm "middle" of my team, the bottom players are absolute garbage. It sucks that I'm stuck either hoping to be the "baddie" or losing.
