I thought having a 0 mana cost ult was against Riot's design philosophy's or something. Isn't that why they added a cost to Ekko's ult? Because "it avoids the minor gameplay idea that a character is weak when oom" as Gypsylord stated? I'm not an expert on balance but all the new changes kind of sound like he's going to be even more frustrating to deal with. Heal on his Q, up to 200 bonus AD for reaching 5 stacks or executing someone with R (free at max rank), and I think his bleed can proc BC now?

and btw there is no way in hell darius can have his 5 stacks unless if his lane partner afks

Darius has more conditions to his ult than Ekko, and ekko is a mage/fighter which should have mana ults because they are way more likely to have ways to regain mana.

not to mention Ekkos ult can be used as an escape.

his ult refunded all the mana it cost at max rank if he killed with it which most of the time was the only time he used it
