Absolutely nothing about this Mordekaiser rework makes sense. Nothing. Not one SINGLE THING. It's like it's the work of a bunch of 11-year olds who've gotten into big brother's pot stash. It's insane, completely devoid of reason or common sense, a tale told by an idiot full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
They force Mordekaiser, an already underpowered and underplayed champion with a kit broadly considered TOTALLY unsuited to actual gameplay due to its enormous gaping flaws and lack of power-tuning levers, into bot lane by nerfing him so he can't be a solo laner any more, completely disregarding the fact that he's played as a solo laner because it's the lane he's least-bad at. Then they give him NOTHING that might actually make him playable in bot lane- he has no CC, no harass against ranged opponents, no mobility, he doesn't even have wave clear any more after they've gutted him! Putting him bot doesn't make it a kill lane, he's solely there to farm- which ain't gonna happen because he's gonna get harassed to hell and back by the enemy and his poor, overstressed support is going to be effectively 1v2ing the entire lane. The ONLY concession they make to him actually being a duo lane champion is that dumb "get solo lane exp while using your stupid W" change they made.
This is just... incomprehensible. I keep looking at these changes and trying to work out what Riot is thinking and the only conclusion I can draw is that they're not. Trying to force Morde into bot isn't an inherently flawed idea, but to do so they'd need to actually COMPLETELY REWORK HIM so he's actually CAPABLE of surviving bot. Bot lane isn't the "easy option" for champions too weak to survive anywhere else any more- why do you think we keep seeing Kog'Maw, Varus, Ezreal and Corki mid, or even Vayne top? If Riot go ahead with these moronic changes, Morde is dead. The champion will literally not exist any more. And even if Riot do insist on forcing this square peg through that round hole as it is, I'm not going to go along with it. Anyone picks Morde bot instead of an ADC while I'm supporting, I'll go support top or mid instead and report them for trolling, because I'm not supporting that troll pick.
Fuck this rework. It has zero redeeming features whatsoever and I will not entertain it any further, not until Riot stop and think for even three seconds. I'm starting to wonder if Riot even are "better than this"...
