Why does heal have a movement speed component?
It's called Heal, not "Heal and giddyup".
Y'all wanna talk about mobility being a problem but then you got them Aye Dee Sees with practically two mobility sum-inners, hick.

You realize that Heal can be taken on other champions right?
How would you go about making Barrier and Heal mechanically different?

By making them do exactly what they're supposed to, ya dingus. Barrier gives you a barrier, heal heals you.
Really joggin' yer noggin there, skipper?

So since you wouldn't make them different, what would be the point of having them both? Would you just remove one? Don't you think it would be better if we had more choices (obviously to a certain point) when it came to summoner spells? Do you believe we are at that amount already?

Heal heals more than just you. Barrier shields only you. There's a yin-yang thang.
Barrier shields for more and has a shorter cd. Heal can be affected by grievous wounds. The only balancing factors of heal are the small move speed and heal to a teammate
They gave Heal a movement speed component to differentiate it from Barrier. This was when Barrier was the normal spell for ADCs to take.
Heal was for escaping, using it's boost of HP and movement speed to get yourself out of a bad situation.
Barrier was for in-combat durability. It's value is larger than the healing from Heal, and thus was made to soak more damage as an anti-burst option.

Aye Dee Sees do not need more escape options. That's the darnest thing I've ever heard in my life. The whole point of playing an Aye Dee See is to deal high dee pee ess with a fragile champion. Getting stuck muddin' is supposed to be a death sentence for a ferrari.
Summoner Spells are allowed to break the rules. ADCs aren't the only ones who can take Heal.
"heal and giddyup" lmaooo
hahaha
