It's like climate change. I feel whatever Riot does now is just too little too late. There just is very little hope that the game will find a way to reintroduce defensive, strategic play anymore. Games will get more and more snowbally as Riot continues to bump up the damage numbers. Game quality has been getting progressively worse. I don't really see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Not like anything that the League forums say matter. At this point, game companies might as well take down their websites and just link their official reddit pages.

It makes me nostalgic to watch old league clips from season 2-3. Watching a lee sin Q onto a target and go through several rotations of spells while both players are trying to outplay the other by dodging abilities, using terrain to their advantage, weaving auto's into their rotation etc. is amazing.

Now you delete your target or hey oneshot you, that's it.

I wouldn't mind more damage if the champions that did more damage actually had to trade safety for it, but they're actually rewarded for doing damage with more mobility and more safety. So they don't even require the team to engage. They just go in and delete, and if they mess up, they get a dash, speed boost, health regen, etc. because god forbid you get punished for making a mistake in the game like everyone else who isn't playing an overloaded champion.

Most players want explosive games. They don't have the patience for strategy. Riot changed its game to cater to those players, but that type of game play gets stale after a while. It's a never ending cycle of trying to one-up the previous release. That is why so many games explode onto the scene but flame out after a while. Riot needs to stop trying to mimic what other companies are doing and get back to what it does best. If Riot wants to create other types of games, then they should make completely different ones instead of morphing League into a bad clone of other temporary successes.

I wouldn't mind, but they should change the tank champions in a way, that they aren't absolutely worthless. I go in with 950 armor, and 7k. ( item 3193 active) health as rammus into 5 ad enemy, and die in 2 seconds. On the other hand i easily survive 9 seconds with a pure damage+ item 3157 Lissandra against any.

As Leona beside the fact that i don't survive being focused i also can't really do anything in midgame. No big damage done, nor extreme CC. So they should give tanks better survival, and a reason to focus them, or erase the role entirely, and turn the so called tanks into juggernauts.

If it were up to me, then tanks would simply get increased survival, and make all projectiles, that can be blocked by Braum's shield to be blockable by anyone. So if the tank stands in your face as an adc then you can't really hit anyone else. Tanks would literary tank the damage by standing in front of others. Either blocking strong enemy from attacking, or stand in front of important allies.

I only want tanks back if they aren't shoe-horned into top lane. Go supp/jng please. Laning 1v1 against a tank when tanks are good is the most boring thing I can think of in a summoner rift match. I may as well be in practice tool. All they do is turtle all game and outscale you. "Oh you were able to turtle for the entire game? heres your win". Like nah dude, that's not fun at all. Top is supposed to be a boxing match not an afk simulator. "HaHa I out afked you! much skill!"
