Just had jungler get autofilled that has never played the role. Needless to say he went 0-9 within 20 minutes bc he has never played jungle. For fucks sake what was wrong with the way shit was last season?

KVbqbFsC8e1 votesLast season we didn't have two ques splitting up the playerbase, and as such we didn't need autofill on 24/7. The only reason autofill even exists 24/7 is to keep Flex que alive. In the preseason, Riot stated that if que times were too long, they would get rid of Flex que ( http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/competitive/riot-pls-ranked-pls-2017-season-ranked-changes ).
Instead, they chose to enable autofill 24/7.

GankedByWindows1 votes10-15 minutes queue times were the problem for me. I don't mind if I get autofilled from time to time in order to have the 3-4 minute average I do now.
Grymmstrike2 votesYou must have selective memory then, because last season I almost never had 5+ minute wait times. This season, while "supposedly" we have low queue times, it is because the timer doesn't keep counting while you are in champ select, so when you get through the ban phase and someone dodges because they were filled support it kicks you back to queue and completely ignores the time spent in champ select. If they kept track of that time I guarantee that it takes longer to get into a queue this season than it did last season except at the highest levels.
GankedByWindows1 votesI don't. I record almost all my games so I can go back and look at them as well as laugh at myself with some friends. The reason our experiences are different is because there are a ton more players where you play than where I do, which makes finding a match faster for Riot in your case than mine. I'm not even that high either, I'm just saying it wasn't an exclusive issue to challenger (who on stream had 20-30 minute times at its peak and it was super ridiculous)
